Description: The mpro healthcare application from Crimson Tide is a fully-featured Windows Mobile application for healthcare professionals. The application is supplied as a subscription based service including all hardware and software as well as a hosted website, database and reporting. No customer infrastructure is required. The application allows users to schedule visits for homecare nurses and other health professionals to carry out treatments in the patient's home or any other remote location. The online scheduling system is part of the included website and shows the nurse's schedules and availability. Once a nurse is allocated, the visit details are sent over the air to the nurse's Windows Mobile device and are displayed in an easy to use visit list. On site, the Windows Mobile device leads the nurse logically through the patient's specific requirements for each visit. For each treatment there is a unique, yet customisable, sequence of screens. The handheld ensures that all treatments are validated and that the nurse has recorded all necessary details such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rate, temperature and respiration rate to ensure the patient is well enough for treatment. When the visit is completed, the resulting data is sent back over the air to the hosted Microsoft SQL Server database and the consultant looking after the patient receives the visit report automatically by email. The information is also available live on the hosted web server, where a wide range of online and exportable reports are available. The solution can be provided on rugged, semi-rugged or professional devices using Windows Mobile 6.x and is available for a low monthly subscription which demonstrates immediate Return on Investment.
