Microsoft 365 Basic will be available on January 30, 2023. If you purchase the OneDrive 100 GB Standalone plan now, you’ll automatically be transitioned to the Microsoft 365 Basic plan starting January 30, 2023.

We wanted to make premium subscription benefits available to even more people at a great price. With this, the current OneDrive 100 GB Standalone plan will become Microsoft 365 Basic on January 30, 2023. After this date, the OneDrive 100 GB Standalone plan will no longer be available for purchase. All existing OneDrive 100 GB Standalone plan subscribers will be transitioned to the Microsoft 365 Basic plan with no action required.

Yes, the OneDrive 100 GB Standalone plan will be replaced by Microsoft 365 Basic globally starting January 30, 2023. Current OneDrive 100 GB Standalone customers will move to the Microsoft 365 Basic plan on January 30, 2023, with no action required.

Cloud storage with your Microsoft account is shared across your files and photos in OneDrive, attachments in Outlook.com and your Microsoft 365 apps.
