Castles tells the story of the ambitious King Harold, whose greatest achievement will be the tower you are constructing. As the tower grows taller and taller, more and more challenges arise along with it. Unpredictable weather combined with the efforts of the jealous and vengeful King Edmund, King Harold’s nemesis, may thwart your upward progress. Featuring three modes of play (story, survival, and competitive) the game can be enjoyed individually or as a multiplayer. With more than 50 levels of randomized gameplay in story mode, you will never play the same game twice. You control an engineer, rather than the blocks themselves, creating a unique gameplay experience. Engineers must match three or more blocks of tools or colors in order to achieve each level’s goals. The 7x7 grid allows engineers to move around the perimeter of the central 5x5 grid where blocks fall from above. Snow, wind, fog, and storms challenge the engineers as they work non-stop through day and night. All the while King Edmund’s minions, equipped with menacing machinery, are bent on orchestrating the tower's demise.

An almost unplayable mess from a developer named after a better game. Sloppy controls, a repetitive soundtrack and a premise suited for touch screens makes for an experience akin to stuffing barbed wire under your fingernails.

Hits a brick wall ....

Totally unsuited contols. Virtually unplayable from second boss. May work on tablet but doubt it would be fun. I have read some positive reviews but I regret buying it.

too luck based

controls are abit hit n miss. can become very frustrating when it blocks off every single move you have repeatedly. fun in short bursts but frustating and unfair more than it should be

I only played this game once, it was that boring... A COMPLETE waste of about £3, i could've bought something nice with. It was basically repeating the same process over and over... The gameplay is terrible making you want uninstall it within the 1st boss, the story is SO lazy, I could come up with that in a second. Here is the story: a king wants to build the tallest castle and you are sent to build it, but they are enemies who try and stop you. Reason? Well there's none. This game is HORRIBLE. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!

God co-op game, but hard

a good coop game, but can be very frustrating and hard to complete as the shape drop is random and can be near impossible to clear levels.
