At last!

I had an older version on my old laptop. When I got a new laptop, I tried some free database programs but was not happy with the limited options, so finally broke down and purchased this one. Can't believe I waited this long to get exactly what I wanted. Worth every penny!

Installation / Removal is Awful

I bought this and found it was incompatible with my company's Office 365 subscription. I finally had a call into MS. They returned my call, but, I was transferred to several diffferent departments to no avail. After an hour they were going to transfer me back to a previous department and I just said basically I got get back to work, please open a trouble ticket and get back to me. They did this and the solution was to update my version of Office and then it insalled no problem. However then when I tried to uninstall MS Access , all Office products are hosed. A message comes up when starting EXCEL, WORD etc saying background process could not complete .... I haven't had luck with any of the suggested solutions work. This seems like a lot of work to get a single peice of software installed. Very weird..... I give this three stars cause I know MS Access is a good tool.

Hello, We are sorry to hear you experienced trouble un-installing Access. Access is part of Office 365 so it is unclear why Access had to be removed. Office 365 comes with free technical support and you can contact us anytime via chat on our website, by phone or by email. Please see: for more info.

Access 2015 Perpetual vs Subscription

Very difficult to get the two Access licenses installed, was told I need a email account for each tablet. Were using tablets with Windows 10 with no email accounts. These are perpetual licenses of Access 2016 and were purchased under one email account. Not sure what the confusion is with perpetual vs subscription. I want to buy more Access 2016 perpetual licenses and I hope I don't have this problem again?

Hello, Access as you have purchased it is for use on 1 PC (perpetual licence). Access is available via subscription through Office 365 product in which case you can install on multiple machines depending on which Office 365 product you subscribe to. Please contact support if you would like to further discuss the issues you are experiencing. You can reach us via any of the methods located here:

MS Access 2016 with my MS Office 2013

There is stil no solution for using Access 2016 with Office 2013 or to buy licenses of Access 2013. It is causing us big problems with clients!

Hello, We apologize for the compatibility issue currently occurring with Office standalone applications and former versions of Office. This is something Office engineering is aware of and has started rolling out a fix which will deploy in phases. In the interim, there is an offer that will upgrade your standalone applications to be compatible if you qualify. Please visit: for criteria. Check back on the product page soon and look for updated messaging below the 'Buy and download now' button when the issue has been resolved:

My favorite app

I know this is more difficult to use than some other programs, but it can do so much more too. I don't use off the shelf Point-Of-Sale programs, I use Access to make my own and customize it as needed. And when merging SharePoint with it there is no need for anything else.

Version for Mac users

I bought this thinking that it would be accessible to my Mac, but I was wrong. You need to have q package that allows access to be installed into Macs and not just for Windows.

Hello, We apologize for the confusion experienced. We currently do not have Access for Mac, only for PC. Please contact us at your convenience to process a return:

Not worth the price

I was forced into buying this because my office 365 expired. I didn't want to buy it, but I used Access for a year and when 365 expired I was no longer able to edit data. If you don't already use Access, I would not recommend starting.

Access 2016

It has been a while since I have used Access, but knowing how to use it has never left. I started creating a database for my bowling league just to keep up my skills in Access. I feel that Access is a very strong database program
