Installation and FAQ

How do I install Office?

After purchase, you can install Office at For more information, see the FAQ.

What's the difference between Office 365 plans and Office 2016 suites?

Office 365 plans include the complete suite of Office applications, plus other services that are enabled over the Internet, including extra cloud storage with OneDrive and Skype minutes for home use. With Office 365 you get the full, installed Office experience on PCs, Macs, tablets (including Windows, iPad, and Android) and smartphones. Office 365 plans are available as a monthly or annual subscription. With Office 365, upgrades are always included with your subscription.

Office 2016 suites, including Office Home & Student and Home & Business, include applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote; they are available as a one-time purchase for use on a single PC or Mac. The applications are not automatically updated; to get the latest version, you must purchase Office again when the new version becomes available.

Outlook crashes 3-4 times a day

I'm not that happy with Office 2016. I wanted to be. Outlook crashes 3-4 times a day. It's not horrible; it just says it's restarting, and it only takes a few seconds. Word and Excel seem fine.

Super Simple.

Needed Microsoft Office for a work computer. Locating, downloading and installing was extremely easy and simple. A degree from MIT is not needed.

Problems validating

Had problems signing into the Microsoft Account and key provided with the download is showing that it has already been used on a previous install. The programs all show to not be validated.

Office 2016 Not Displaying Changes

Bought new HP laptop with Windows 10. Purchased Office H & B 2016 via a download. Now having trouble viewing the latest entries in Excel and Word. Data is old. Installed OpenOffice 4.1.3. Opened the same files with OpenOffice and found the latest entries were there. We freaked out cause it took hours to originally enter and SAVE. We are using OpenOffice because we can't trust H & B 2016.

The theme is too bright

I had the 2010 version and I didn't know I have to pay for a newer version after trying. Several times to send files through my outlook. 1 key to 1 computer for that price Is very expensive . I don't like the new theme . Can't differentiate read and unread messages.

It is a case of needing office to manage my life.

If you do not have these programs it is a lot harder to manage your life style! Letters? Edit and return documents? Edit pictures and forward to family and friends? This makes life easier & Better! Nothing fancy!

Awesome Grouping of Productivity Products
