A beautiful world, but a very short experience.

With its superb artstyle and engaging soundtrack, the world of Abzû is worth experiencing. A stress-free adventure about a Diver's journey to the depths of the sea. There are a few issues though. The controls might give you a little trouble, luckily you can change them in the options. The game is very short, you can finish it in less than 2 hours. Searching for collectables, or just exploring every world will extend your experience.

Fun Playthru W/ Kids

Kinda short and a little too linear for me personally, but my 9 & 5 year old kids got such a kick out of this game. Totally worth it.

Explore a beautiful underwater world

I really enjoyed this game! There is very little story to go on, except what you find by exploring. The varied seascapes are fun to swim around in, and the game progression is handled nicely. There are enough hidden items to keep it fun, but not so many it is overwhelming. Very family friendly, and great fun. Highly recommended.

I know it is supposed to be a relaxing game but it is very difficult. The controls for the character are very annoying, it is almost impossible to get the character to move in the direction that i want when it either continues moving in the wrong i am trying to move to or the camera wont move and i am forced to quit the game out of fustration.

Truly Beautiful

this is hands down the most beautiful, and meaningful game I have ever played. It's also very calming. Definitely a game everyone needs to try out.👍

simple elegance

no killing, no talking, but has more substance than most Blockbuster games. fantastic story arc that can be completed quickly, or you can take your time and explore the world at your own pace. deeply relaxing as well.

Enthralling and Immersive!!!

Beautiful, incredibly detailed and informative in its gameplay, I enjoyed every minute of it! I'm still not completely done with all the secrets and achievements, but it only taks a few hours for me to play through the game. That being said, I enjoy it every time I play it, so worth every penny!

I can understand why some ppl would enjoy this. But it is not for everyone. I'm very surprised by such a high rating. The game is swim and swim some more. I'm not an action junky, I just don't get the attraction. I suckered myself into buying it. Figuring I can't go wrong with a 4.7 rating. Yes, great colors and cool sound. But it's also mostly a linear game. Exploring is allowed but mostly you're moving along where the game has you moving. Replay value is very low. But then again they're not asking for very much money. Maybe if you enjoy getting chemically altered in some way, or are a 60's child, you may enjoy this. As far as being an emotional experience? I would guess California, maybe Vermont? 😢🐳 Hey! I DO love whales. 🤝

would've paid 5 bucks

i understand this is a swim with ocean "game." entire story is this: touch ponds 2 see fish (over 100 but they all look like clay and swim motions are NOT natural). shark looks scary. mines blow up shark. u and shark die and come back 2 destroy mines by running into them(which is how u died). World is TINY no open exploration. all ares look pretty much the same. if i hadn't stopped in all areas 2 ride fish i think the entire game would be 30 minutes. riding fish isn't fun i just hoped 4 achievement from it. how does a game with so little area/story cost a third of what Skyrim costs? its like comparing the mona lisa 2 a kids macaroni art. this game is terrible.
