BadLand Games

It was supposed to be a simple mission. All I had to do was collect some samples from a contaminated area under the sea. As soon as I left the ship, everything went wrong. Communications were lost and my submarine crashed on the ocean floor. I survived, but my oxygen is running low and I can't contact anyone for help. All I can do is move forward with this operations drone as my only companion. Trouble is, it's been acting sort of weird lately. Almost as if it's trying to sabotage my mission... Anoxemia is a story-driven exploration game that puts you in control of the scientist Dr. Bailey and his operations drone, ATMA. Search the ocean floor as you discover and extract samples from the bowels of the underwater caves. Danger lurks in each passageway, from poison drifts to powerful ocean currents, mines leftover from the war, and mobile machines running haywire. There's also the ever-present risk of running out of oxygen. Fortunately, ATMA can help guide you to your destination using a few special tools and upgrades. Assuming you can find them, that is. The world of Anoxemia is both breathtaking and perilous. The seas are quiet most of the time, but as soon as you see a flashing light or hear a noise echoing from the distance, you know it's time to run. Of course, there are some dangers you just can't run from. Dangers you don't even know exist. Dangers from within... Key features: -Unique sci-fi horror story that unfolds while you play -Explore 35+ levels of unique underwater terrain -Find and equip several different items and upgrades -Solve puzzles that require quick reflexes and clever thinking -Voiced narrative that gives insights on the main character's thoughts -Challenging gameplay

Buyer, beware!

My first store game that tricked me, be sure to look up gameplay before buying! I saw it on sale & thought it was a horror survival... its not! The category is "other" and the store pics are NOT gameplay, save your $$

Badland Games Delivers with BSK Games first Indie Title

Badland Games publishes another quality Indie title. From the Metroid-Vania Axiom Verge to the unique reversing of the story of The Sexy Brutale, Badland knows hidden gems when they see them, with a unique "guide-and-click" gameplay and a plethora of upgrades, you can't beat Anoxemia for the price, especially on sale. Well worth the play if you appreciate the work that goes in to any title. If it's a game I'll play it! If you enjoy titles like this and others join the "Indie Lovers" club on Xbox and Windows. Keep up those great choices Badlands, can't wait to see what BSK Games has in store next.

Good Despite Some Issues

If you are a fan of Limbo type games, Anoxemia is for you. The controls can be a little wonky, but nothing game breaking. I also experienced some framerate issues, but its was not common and I don't know if it is widespread. Kind of wish that the achievements had some description as how to get them, a little irritating. Despite the issues above, I think you should definitely get the game, especially for the nice price tag. Nice atmosphere and overall feel to the game.

Boring as ****

Half the time its to dark to see anything in the game.

One Achiement Is Bugged

Story is good. The levels are challenging and the background art is exceptional. I took one star off for game physics that I ran into, and I took another star off due to 'THE END!' achiev being bugged. Otherwise, this game was good for the price and a good way to get quick gamerscore.
