Forza Motorsport 7

While FM7 is has improved over its predecessors, it has one glaring issue. These garbage loot boxes, and cutting content from the VIPs. I have become really upset over games becoming a "service". It seems now that Turn 10 built Forza around loot boxes and micro transactions, rather than making the game more in depth, deeper, and enriched with content. This must be Phil Spencer forcing his games as a service agenda, rather than pushing the best racing sim developers into making a rich, deep single player experience. Forza Motorsport 7 will be the last Forza I purchase if this is the direction the franchise is going.

Feeling betrayed

well to start things off there was the bait and switch with VIP. And then the introduction of the loot crate system... People wanted innovation in the racing genre from this game, instead we've been given something is taking 2 steps backwards. I love Forza and I was tricked into buying the ultimate edition by a group I thought I could trust... Disappointed beyond belief. I would only recommend this game to those who wish to buy the basic version of and want to either grind more than they did in destiny 1 or wish to spend an extra 100 on the micro transactions the game was designed around.

Freemium Economy, Full-Price Game

The economy of this game is utterly broken. Money is purposely meted out at a paltry rate in a bid to push garbage microtransactions that only exist to boost earnings. Add to that a scandalous VIP pass and zero drivatars in private lobbies, and you get this mess of a game that I would recommend my friends avoid. Here’s hoping Microsoft recognizes the disrespect this shows to their customers and fixes a once great franchise.

Loot boxes!!!

Sad to see a legendary game turned into a pay to earn scam . Oh and VIP is NOT worth the money!!!

1 step forward, 2 steps back

They have taken so many features out, No PI class multiplayer, No quick test drive, VIP perks aren't permanent. There are only five MP hoppers, are they are divided into their new lame homologated system, so there is no diversity of cars. No drift lobbies, points drifting is lame but still wtf. save this game for the $20 bin people. And I hope they provide Hieronymus1967 with kneepads and mouthwash for hard work he does on the forums banning everyone that doesn't gobble on T10's knob. 🔥💯

Pretty limited.

The whole uprading your favorite car and tweaking the gears to be competitive is gone. You buy, win, or earn cars that are class capped; throw on your favorite rims and your car is out of spec for the race. Not sure what to think of what was my favorite racing franchise. It is a huge disappointment, it reeks of what will benefit shareholders short term versus a continuation of why fans loved the series.

A HUGE STEP BACK

THIS GAME IS A HUGE LET DOWN AND STEPS BACKWARDS IN THE SERIES. YOU'RE FORCED TO BUY UNWANTED CARS TO LEVEL UP YOUR COLLECTION LEVEL SO YOU CAN UNLOCK OTHER CARS, YOU CANT JUST BUY THE CAR YOU WANT ANYMORE. ALSO, THERE'S ALOT OF STUPID MICRO-TRANSACTIONS SET IN PLACE, SUCH AS PRIZE CRATES. THERE'S NO MORE ONLINE CLASSES TO CHOSE FROM TO RACE IN ANYMORE TOO. THE GOOD THO IS THE GAME STILL LOOKS, PLAYS AND SOUNDS GOOD. OTHER THEN THAT, THIS GAME IS JUNK! IVE ENJOYED ALL THE GAMES OF THE SERIES BUT THIS ONE IS PITIFUL!!

Microsoft keeps deleting 1 star reviews

THIS GAME HAD 151 ONE STAR REVIEWS BUT MICRO$OFT KEEPS DELETING THEM, INCLUDING MINE.MANY ISSUES. UNPLAYABLE AT TIMES. WHAT MADE THE FORZA SERIES GREAT IS GONE.

T10 NEEDS TO REMOVE HOMOLOGATION FROM CAREER!!

Homologation destroys all of the fun I've had in previous Forza games. Having the ability to pick a car, upgrade it multiple times, and race with it throughout career as you progress through the ranks was the best part. We are car people. We want to upgrade, tune, build road cars that challenge race cars, etc. Homologation destroys all of that. I can understand the strict and ridiculous standards for multiplayer and leaderboard-type play, but this is a deal-breaker in career mode. There is absolutely no reason to have it, BESIDES PUSHING PEOPLE TO MICROTRANSACTIONS IN THE FORM OF CAR CRATES. Destroy the freedom of modding, create a need for a new car for every race, and everyone gets bored of grinding until they pay $ for cars.. This needs to be an ON/OFF "feature". Otherwise, you are destroying a game for a large percentage of your fans.

Worst Forza Ever

I have played/bought every single Forza ever made and most of the dlc. I have put hundreds of hours into each one. Up till now they have all been awesome games. Forza 7 is the game where my loyalties end. The obvious restructuring of the game to heavily favor micro transactions is down right insulting when I pay $85 for a game. The homologation model is broken and de incentivizes customization/upgrading which was at the very core of what made the older Forzas amazing. The VIP program ($20 extra) was a scam and I'm screwed because I preordered months in advance. It just hurts to see one of my favorite franchises fall so far. All that said, Buyer be ware.
