Must understand story

This game has a very complex story, mostly fitting with the book, while leaving out some "boring details" that do not fit the game. This game is wonderful, and I could not get enough of it. Many people will not pay attention to such fine details. Metro: Last Light does not conform as Metro 2034, instead being 2035. This game is more survival based, while Last Light is a bit more Run-and-Gun in nature. I believe this game definitely has replay value, finding thing you may not have noticed in your first playthrough. Will be playing again after finishing as a book first.

A pretty nice post-nuclear shooter

Metro 2033 is a neat little shooter with interesting mechanics. However, it isn't too user friendly, as there is no tutorial. Some mechanics, like the Morality system, aren't even alluded to. But, with all the Redux's enhancements, fun action and stealth, and competent writing, I can easily recommend it to any shooter fan.

My favorite game series, and for good reason.

When I first played the metro series I didn't expect much. After I played it I was completely blown away. This game has an absolutely amazing story and is my favorite story driven game. It may not look like much but the game is beautifully told. A must own.

A beautiful challenge

If Dark Souls and Fallout had a baby, this would be it. Not for the run and gun/ spray and pray CoD player

I think that this game is the best single player game ever.I love the whole concept, its absolutely phenomenal. From the dark beauty to the gore.Dont even let me get started on the story.Actually the most interesting and amazing storyline ive ever seen. This game brings you close to the characters for a fun but tearjerking experience.I loved the variety of guns and costomizable feature.I loved the ending even though it almost had me in tears. This was one of my greatest game experiences in my life and i thank the creators with all my heart and soul for making me be able to play such and extraordinary and fantastic game ever. This rating also goes for Metro Last Light. The only thing that i dont like which is not about the actual gameplay is that i havent heard about another Metro game release.Thank. you so very much for the opportunity have a absolutely extrordinary day.

Surprise Hit

I really can't get over how much I loved this game. Obviously has a post apocalyptic setting which is used in innovative ways and isn't just 'background'. This definitely not a RPG, but it's way more than a FPS. I suggest turning up the difficulty to get the most out of the game as it forces a different more strategic style of play using stealth and cover and wise use of resources (the constant checkpoints reinforce the suspicion that this how it's meant to be played). The levels become like a bunch of small challenges to work through one at a time instead of rushing nonstop COD style. The sequel is equally as good (possibly better) but different & they need to be experienced together.

This game was amazing. Easily one of the best post apocalyptic style game I've played. I noticed there were a lot of typos in the journal entries but it actually kind made them more emersive to me considering the lack of an education system. I'm sure they were just mistakes but its still ok in my book. And I highly doubt most players read the logs anyway. Regardless the game was amasing. Just buy it. It's worth the time and money.

The game is simply awesome and almost perfect in every way. The atmosphere is imersive, the story is interesting, and provides a great challenge on harder difficulties. One problem however is that the ai is uintelligent and can take away from some of the suspense it is supposed to have at times.

Beautiful wasteland, survival, stealth and action packed around every corner. Never know how your game will play out depending on your choices. The modern day assassins creed and Dishonord.

Ok, First off, the story was the best ive played in forever... This game makes fallout look like crap.. it almost matches the books, and lots of mutants/facist Russians to attack. lots of toys to play with (my favorite being a bloody flamethrower) but all in all its the best if your looking for a post-nucular game other than fallout 4
