Description

The Technomancer takes you to Mars, where you live as a mage-warrior. You’re capable of harnessing destructive electrical powers amplified by cybernetic implants. Feared and respected by all, you are on the verge of completing your initiation rite to become a fully-fledged Technomancer. This action-RPG offers four different combat skill trees focusing on three distinct fighting styles, as well as the potent electrical powers. Of course, brute strength is not suited to every situation. Dynamic conversations play a major part in questing, and your decisions will dramatically alter the story and world. You can also craft equipment, weapons and armor for yourself and any companions you recruit along the way. Undertake an adventure through forgotten paradises, lost cities under ice, and dystopian shanty towns that sprawl across Mars' dusty embrace. Will you survive long enough to uncover the truth behind The Technomancer?

Just a misunderstood game!

The game yes is some what loaded with issues but like with any game we hope things get patched! I have devoted some time to this game to understand it better. So with some trial and error really had some fun with technomancer. The crafting is easy to pickup on had very little problem understanding how to do. The skill tree some say to go this way vs another. The best choice is go how you wish to go depending your play style. The overall graphics not all that bad reminded me some of sw old replubic. The big reason i took a chance was the price at the store $19.99 but had $5.00 off reward. So i was able to get a great deal and yes got at gamestop. The best thing i can say is even after reading good or bad reviews is do some research. Take some time to watch all the youtube videos, twitch streams and then make your choice. The other part is price if you can get a good deal like i did then consider it. If the price is to much hold off till marked down or check online stores, or amazon.

Good game in my opinion.

The Technomancer turned out to be a enjoyable game with some smooth combat if you adapted to it instead of using the same old tatics. No parry? Well Darksiders 2 didn't have a parry or block system yet no one complained. At least Technomancer allows you to block with the guardian style. Faces could've used more facial animation but not game breaking to me.

Shockingly fun

For 15 Bucks, this masterpiece was an absolute steal. simple, fluid but challenging gameplay, as well as the one-click crafting and good dialogue seem like you truly accomplished something after a quest. I will admit, however, the graphics aren't quite top notch but some of my best gaming memories are from games with bad graphics. so stop reading, grab a drink and start Technomancing!

Solid Action RPG

Playing The Technomancer is like watching a classic sci-fi B movie. If you've played Mars War Logs, this improves upon everthing in that game. Story is solid so far and the atmosphere is great. The acting could be better, but it does the job. It takes time to get into the flow of fighting. Mindless button mashing will lead to a quick death regardless of your level. if you like sci-fi action RPGs it's worth a shot. Not perfect, but I do love B movies...

Once again, Don't listen to the whining haters ...

I bought this game because it only cost me $12 and i had read so many bad criticisms everywhere that I even regretted buying it. The fact is that it is a real awesome game most likely misunderstood by a lot of gamers. The game has very decent graphics and game play and the upgrading process for your hero is very much in depth. Try it !

satisfied Surprise

While its not on par with storytelling quite like the top RPGs out its story is decently deep and satisfying with choices you make effecting the outcome. its combat is challenging and requires adaptability and strategy. its graphics are not top of the line but are not bad either. all in all i loved my travels as a technomancer and would absolutely recommend this game if you dont get hung up on tiny things like graphics.

Definitely would like to see more from this game!

awesome game I love it the combat mechanics are very unique the story kinda feels like final fantasy the open worldish feels like fallout and the graphics are pretty good no frame drop at all I would love to see more games in the future for this franchise and hopefully series for tecnomancers!🎮⚔❤

B-movie

The game very much reminds me of a B-movie voice acting aint great sure however the combat feels fluid and switching between the combat stances works very well. there are issues but i honestly dont mind as the bugs i have found are not game breaking. the game isnt for everyone but if you can overlook some flaws and enjoy B-movies or simply just want to get away from the big AAA games i feel you enjoy the game. if you are not sure watch some gameplay and maybe wait for a sale. i got it day 1 and i dont regret it but im not everyone. so look at some gameplay and ask yourself how many shortcomings am i willing to forgive in a low budget non AAA game. if you can overlook some graphic and texture issues and enjoy a B-movie you should be fine.

Wasnt sure but pleasantly surprised!

It reminds me of old games like gothic and two worlds. Definitely unpolished but lots of fun! Good story and fun fast combat. I was very hesitant to buy this but im glad I did!👍

Decent game, extremely underrated

The Technomancer is a decent RPG that was a VERY low budget game. Could it have been better? Yes. But the combat works fine (for me at least) though sometimes there may be a delay with your dodges. I recommend using Rogue or Warrior as those play styles offer fast paced gameplay. Rogue offers a dagger and a gun while Warrior has you using a staff. Voice acting is ok at some times but other times, you will simply laugh. Environments look decent but the characters look pretty ugly at some points due to limited textures. Most of their focus was on the environments apparently. Lighting and shadowing seems a bit off since i'm still trying to find the right brightness setting that isn't too dark or too bright. This makes it difficult to see what's going on in cutscenes. Overall though, i'm ok with this game. If the devs really want the game to sell well, it would be wise to add in some FREE dlc in the future and patch the game to fix the problems i have come across.
