Love it! I'm a slow starter tho ...

When I saw the preview and clips, I was immediately interested so good job on that, for whomever. I spent too much time figuring out how my guy moves around and how to move the screen around before I could comfortably explore the land. Some more obvious signs and directions would be a help, like the instructions on using the camera was a quick flash of a mouse with the left click red, I almost missed it. Moving my dude's body position was clumsy and then combining that with his FOV, his lit up focus to collect with the camera, was a big mess for me! It's probably just me folks, being awkward and not used to playing on a laptop. Lastly, I had to walk away real quick and when I came back to my desk, my trial play was over. I was disappointed. A notification would have been nice. Also, was this game $10 yesterday and $20 today? Or am I just losing it? lol! I went to purchase this and instead, I just paused. Nonetheless, Astroneer is a tremendous entertainer! Very enjoyable. Good work!

Resolution bug

Developers, please!! I have Surface Pro 4 with scaling at 200% (Recommended) in system settings and due to this I cannot change game resolution. This option in graphics settings doesn't work as expected.

Excellent Game with great potential

Although it's still in pre alpha it has lots of potential and at its current state its extremely fun and challenging from having to adapt to each planets environments to learning your randomly generated world which help and hurt you in many ways. Astroneer has changed alot since i got it day one and i expect it to change alot more in the following months i truly enjoy this game for what it is and i fully reccomend this at full price while they're bugs in the game what pre alpha doesn't have bugs, the amount of potential completely out weighs the bugs but i would recommend test Astroneers free trial before buying to see whether you like it or not if you love space exploration astroneer will not disappoint you- XxXHALOROCKSXx

Wild Dingy Wolf

Good game

It's a good game but kind of repetitive would be nice to see some more in depth content to make the exploration factor better such as adding friendly/hostile lifeforms that aren't plants and more complex crafting such as weapons and walk in habitats. Other than that you can't beat a game like this for $20! Great work

Interesting with great potential

I understand this is a beta version of the game, but it is still very good. I love the concept of the game, and you can play it for hours discovering the planet and crafting multiple objects. But the oxygen depletes quickly in my opinion and the tethers should be made much longer to be able to freely roam on the vast planet. The game itself is really well thought of, but it lacks living things, I tend to get bored a little bit after a long period of time, animals would be welcome, dialogues also, and some objectives, goals or achievements would make the game even more interesting and rewarding to play. Bumping into fellow astroneers would be really funny and creating a little story between them would be perfect (maybe that's a tad too much asking, but hey, who knows). Overall, the creators have put a considerable amount of work into it, GREAT GAME!! But I feel the game has so much more potential to it, maybe the final version will be a revelation. Excellent work!

Has potential

First off, its pre-alpha, keep that in mind. It is a good game other than the occasional bugs, which happen a lot less frequently than some released games do. Multiplay does have some issues but overall i enjoyed playing this game for a long while

very good game

everything about this game is great....but the multiplayer. I have yet been able to play with my friends. You hit join and sit at a loading screen for 10 minutes, it freezes, then takes you to the main menu again. Please fix
