It isn't as great as it used to be (GTA Online)

2013 to the release of online Heists was the golden ages for GTA Online. Nowadays its just a constant grind fest, re-skinned DLCs, new gamemodes that no one will ever play unless there is a Double Money and RP event going on, freemode sessions filled with tryhards and jet griefers, and ridiculously priced vehicles and properties. Micro-transactions have truly ruined this game, everything new from the past few DLCs have been put behind a pay wall, meaning that its almost impossible to afford. You'll find yourself spending hours doing heist that most of the time end up ruining friendships because someone wants 30% of the cut instead of 10%, lol. The only way to show that we are tired of this bull**** is to not buy their Sharkcards which will hit em where it hurts most, their wallets.

Buy, but don't expect too much.

I've been playing this game since day one; even bought the next gen version to keep up. Eventually, GTA Online will be the ONLY reason you keep playing, however it will also annoy you. A third of the people you meet WILL kill you, another will kill you later then grief you for an hour, while the small few will just let you be. If you want new content, GTA Online gets fresh content every month or so. Be wary that you will understand the term "grinding" once you surpass level 135. Be patient for the load times, and be smart with your money. Grand Theft Auto V is worth it, but, you will spend hours either having fun doing jobs, or getting frustrated re-doing that Heist mission for the fifth time. Have fun!

A BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART...BUT

This is easily one of the best games I've ever played. It has beautiful graphics and gameplay and adds a lot of diversity to the GTA franchise as a whole. If you want to be a gangster you can be. If you want to be a redneck you can be. The possibilities are endless. However if you plan on playing GTA Online be ready to break out your wallet and buy some Shark Cards because that $8 million yacht isn't cheap. Overall great game. Would be better if things weren't so overpriced. For this I'd give it 4 stars out of 5.

Amazing game, horrible community.

If you like playing with children half your age, never being able to complete any sort of mission, and only being able to get money off of races then this is for you! Unless you have 3 friends that have the game to youre never going to have a good time because you literally cant do ANYTHING to progess. Nobody accepts invites to jobs and if they do they are 7 years old and ruin the mission or you get a good looking crew after all that waiting just for someone or you to DC. Sad, huge potential for a great community game but when players would rather run around killing random people instead of make $100,000 off a heist it kinda kills the whole thing. People ruined it.

Money hungry

Not even one singleplayer DLC since it's been out (4 years) the only add-ons have been for multiplayer and don't forget about the fake credit cards where you spend a lot of real money to get something not even worth it. Why not upload a different area since we've played in the same city for years but noooo we give them millions of real dollars in return for fake effing credit cards where we spend even more real money!!!

Good, however there are a few downsides...

I have played this game for a long time now. I'm always battling people online which is fine with me. Story Mode is fun and enjoyable though I still haven't unlocked a lot of achievements, which I know is on my behalf. The heists irritate me because, as for any long term GTA 5 owner, you'll always have that 1 person that leaves heists for no reason. Additionally the servers online can be a little slow, though if you like all the things that make this game 17+, I'm sure it can be an awesome game.

Patience is a Virtue

GTA V is a huge game. It has more content and game play over campaign and multiplayer then I have ever seen in another game. All the DLC is free. The content is a challenge to earn if one has the patience to play for it instead of pay for it with real money. There are several ways to earn in game cash with relative speed if you invest your in game money into the many businesses now offered by the game. The game looks smooth, it plays smooth and has more detail in animation, clouds, color palette, etc then most other games. The level of detail gives the world a feeling of life no other game has. The true next Gen game that's been out for four years and it will stand the test of time for another four. Rockstar is innovation and ingenuity that continues to dazzle in a splendor of violence and action that only ceases with the limit of your imagination.

My wife left me

I went to the strip club and my wife, Linda, broke out in tears and left me with our 3 children. 10/10

Yes But No Situation.

The game has tons of content and more being added which makes the game respectable. However one major problem is connection and this issue effects a lot of players out there. Little advice, work on your servers before adding more to crash it.

My Favorite game ever.

The only reason i don't give this game a 5 star rating is because the online has been made to get the player to pay an overpriced amount of hard earned money for fake made up money! Also heist servers are terrible even when you have four people ready to play. Otherwise I appreciate all the work Rockstar has done on this game. Great detail in a read between the lines sort of way.
