Great Multiplayer Halo Game for Casual & Competitive

The campaign definitely lacks the quality that previous Halo games so strongly enveloped but the multiplayer is awesome! 343 has delivered a fair amount of quality DLC for FREE that has established a challenging but balanced arena style competitive scene. As well as enjoyable social games like Action Sack, Warzone, and of course customs. Also including the best forge mode to date with talented members of the community developing amazing content regularly. If you like Halo then this game is hands down a must have for the Xbox One. I love this game! ❤🎮🐛 🦋👍

Not like it use to be

Just horrible I can just go into a lobby wazone and get up against people who have mythic weapons and vehicles while have all uncommons and rares. Then I waste three hours of my time to get 10000 req points for a gold pack and what do I get? Trash armor and horrible visrs and and all uncommon stuff no legendary weapons nothin but trash. Then your packs are stupid a gold is uncommon to legendary the silver packs are uncommon to rare then bronze just commons. WOW how does this make sense. In COD BO3 there only two packs or should I say supply drops. A common supply drop can hold a legendary in unlike Halo were you have open a gold pack. Take some Notes from them. hashtag MISS BUNGIE 😢😢 I mean come on it could be fun but its gets boring real fast change some things up and also should of brought back challenges to unlock xp, req points or even card packs that are a one time thing a year.

343's Saga.

Halo 5; a great Halo game from 343 industries into the Halo saga. Multiplayer is great, forge, and much more, always adding some type of content to the game which is great. The Campaign is a bit off. The campaign is in my opinion on of the worst out of the series, but it's "Okay". The game mechanics are great, I like the boost, hover, thrust, makes Halo much more enjoyable, but you can turn that off into the settings and in custom games. 4/5 Stars rated.

A Grindy Disappointment

I have been a die hard Halo fan since the original and love the series, I've stood by 343 and Microsoft and hoped that I wasn't wrong all the times I defended this game.. but I just can't anymore. Why did Microsoft have to shove an Esport competitive, microtransaction favored, shell of a Halo game onto us? They sacrificed a core functionality of the franchise, the beloved splitscreen, for 60fps (which nobody asked for.) Unlocking things is purposefully long and grueling to make us WANT to get a bundle of gold packs for a CHANCE to get that one armor piece you like out of the 4 variations of the 200+ sets in the game or that certain REQ we want which could take months to get if you don't have the time. Since launch, I've only gotten 1 Pheaton. The playlists are kinda dry and the enemy AI are bullet sponges. I just can't bring myself to keep playing, it feels like more of a chore than a fun time.

A Dying Franchise

I love Halo. I've played every single game they have released and I have loved every one of them. This one is very improved I enjoy the arena style elimation and the idea of Warzone (Not the gameplay of it because all it is, is player chocking objectives with grenades and calling req abilities which are also a microtransaction. I will I love that idea to call in weapons and veichles but its just not fair to have higher level ones and different variations.) The story for the game was awfule and I believe this is possibly one of the worst stories from a game I have seen. I will give it to 343 for doing a fantastic job on cinematics that truly showbthe xbox one's power but it falls short due to loosing intrest not even halfway into the game. If your thinking about buying this game wait for a sale or just get a preowned copy. This is not worth $59.99.

Good, but could be better

I like the gameplay and how fluid it is. But the campaign isnt that great you only get 3 levels to play as Chief and blue team. The mutiplayer is fun but can get really annoying at times and there isnt a lot of game modes to play. overall its a fun halo game and I enjoy playing it with friends.

Great game but needs Improvement🎮⚔ 🔥💪

The story is decent and the mutiplayer is pretty good and has competitive ranked matchmaking but it could use more like SPLIT SCREEN, Non-Warzone Firefight, More customization for armor (like what REACH had), less CoD hacker kids, and being able to ban cheaters and betrayers from matches.🔥🔥🔥👍✌👌👌

fake halo game

campaign is trash with a terrible story and level design ruining the new gameplay style, the game is so competitive that not even the competitive players like it, the req system is repetetive grinding to hopefully someday get the item you want, or you can PAY REAL MONEY to hopefully get the packs, waited too long to add basic content to the point where theres a very small population, over all its a terrible game that takes way too long to download and had the most mis leading marketing campaign ive seen in years

it was disappointing...

though the graphics were good as is the gameplay i was expecting to be master chief the entire time, to continue the fight with the arbitor that we left off in halo 3, and to finally see cheif's face (which if they follow the timeline he shouldnt be much older than 20 just a few years ago because cortana was assigned to cheif in halo 1 and in halo 4 it explained how the children are abducted at 12 to be trained as spartan and that AIs go rampant after 7 year though shed been active for 8, now you can argue that it would take time to train to be a Spartan but it doesnt say that Cortana had been activated just before halo1, and knowing that she was trusted with more of the unsc's info than other AIs then she was probably activated before hand to make sure she could be trusted with it ; so saying that cheif is likely to be just a bit older than 20...

Over 500+ hours of multiplayer and 35k kills.

The multiplayer is so well done I have not even had time for single player. No one match is ever the same, which is why its so enjoyable. I play this daily and really do not want to play any other games anymore. Its well worth the money and new players are always welcome. There is a ton of different weapons to choose from and they are always being tweaked to make sure nothing is to over powered. Hundreds of different ways to eliminate your opponents, everyone has a different play style. You will also meet alot of different players from all walks of life which is a added bonus. This is the reason I will never buy a PS4, MS has the exclusive so they have my business for life. Nothing else to say.
