Great idea .... poor execution

Love the graphics, story, even the NPC's. Do not love the loading times, loathe the fact this game has little replay value. Hate the fact that unless you solo run dungeons you'll never earn certain achievements. And the fact you can't custom build dungeons, share / run them with friends or the community is a HUGE let down. I'd love to see some DLC added, maybe a short Drizzt story line if not stand alone section, clue players in on what brought him here to begin with. Add content for DM mode, let a DM do just that, may just gain more popularity and notoriety, possibly grow the dwindling base of like ten people outside of myself who play this game.

Steady Fun with Hurdles...

Alright, the game itself is wonderful, love the gear and the leveling and the story campaign so far. The Big hurdle I've found is that if you tell the party to sit back and load a new area you get utterly trapped AND you auto save after the seperation loads and BLAM yourself into using the 'load last level-up' option and losing that progress. I made this mistake trying to find a satisfying result to a 'secret guild oath' path and now im boned into an hours backtrack. Dont bother with the recommended support link the game gives you. You're just boned. Thus a 3/5 for a game that otherwise deserves better. (Update) Alriiiight, lucky breakthrough, switched to out-of-body camera, gave orders to exit the area and either that worked or switching controls back in the same instant is what did it.

Not how to have a adventure.

great to pass time but clunky interface ,load times can be ignored if your just looking to have casual fun. in all a short game if you work it.

Adventure abounds... if you have patience

D&D adventuring on your Xbox, multi player co-op and DM mode all have great promise. Sadly, this has crashed more than once on me (e.g. rebooted my xbox!) or locked up and then you have to reload. Oh and those reload times, not a joke it takes 5+ minutes just to get to where I can choose a game mode, and then every time I transition it's long enough that I can go get a refill on a drink, make popcorn, use the restroom, put the kids to bed... you get the idea. The load times makes this really painful to play. Once you get going it's actually quite fun, but the story is a bit linear too. I got this on sale for $6, and that's probably about right for what I am getting for pleasure. Don't pay more than $10, it's just not worth it.

Needs "Couch Co-op"

The game feels very relaxed and fluid. The controls and combat are natural when playin. The biggest downside for me is no couch co-op. A game like this would excel if there was an option to play with local players on the same console, and also allow new players to the franchise, especially during group gatherings at someone's house.

Constantly Crashes

This game has so much potential but it constantly crashes even after uninstall/reinstall multiple times. Contacted support and the could only tell me a fix for the PC version.

Good Game

I grew up on 2nd edition to my suprise I had a lot of fun playing this. It tries to be a hack n slash like diablo 3 hot key everything. However added feature lets you pause and que your plan of action kinda like KOTOR. I gave 3 stars due to some bugs with their servers. I have been disconnected a few times while dungeon crawling got to keep loot but theres goodies to be had completing missions in co op. Not a fan of AI party but thats because I want a new console version of Champions of Norrath or Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance.
