Strategy and Tactics

For a game made by a small developer this title is surprisingly well made. Its real time strategy is similar to that of Diablo. But that is were the similarity ends. World map movment is story based and reminiscent of the Dungeons and Dragons of old. The Dwarves would have easly been a 4 star title. If not for the lack of any form of ally unit AI. Units do not use skills or move unless controlled by the player. On harder difficulties it's easier to let them fall and carry on alone. The loading screens are incredibly long even when selecting retry. For what it is $40 new at GameStop The Dwarves was a pleasant surprise.

Great game, but has a few problems.....

The story is a good one and will keep you going for a while. Action is great, but takes a little bit to learn. I recommend starting on easy until you have everything down. There is a bit of a lag problem. Loading screens are horrendous; not overly long, but much longer than there should be. I've been playing for 13 hours, and love it. But try getting it for $30. It'll be a lot better than spending $40 on it.

Awesome Game, but Wait for a PRICE DROP.

Beautifully detailed and the story in incredibly rich, slow and ackwarded at the beginning but catches up with the suspense later. The bad camera and poor loading time kills it completely--- but makes up with the soundtrack and the graphics, The ending credits is well done with "The Children of the Smith" Theme--- check with youtube to review the game before coughing up $40.00 for it, better to wait for a price drop to get this game.

The start of something sooo dope. Its like Mass Effect meets Warcraft meets Dynasty Warriors. Short but still 5 stars. Can't wait for a sequel.

Fun but Poor Combat System

I really enjoy the story and the world map mechanics, however the combat system is almost unbearable. It feels like the game should have just had turn based combat but the devs wanted real time, and the results fall a little flat. Sure pausing is a thing, but with how often it's necessary to do that it might as well be turn based.
