Review title of ConnorLow Quality Videos Recorded from TV

ClickView is probably the worst streaming service. Most videos are low quality 480p with horrible audio. They are filled with ads since they are just recorded from free TV. YouTube is a much better resource for educational videos, because the servers are better optimised, the media players actually work, and the video quality is much better.

This app has been great in my Classroom where we use Microsoft Surface as our primary devices. The function to store video locally and play back off line has proven invaluable for students without internet at home.

The local storage option is very much appreciated, this is really important to equity of access and portability as students can keep an offline version downloaded from the school. Recording right from the app/device is also great for flipping the classroom!

Review title of GeorgeLosing functionality

Used to be able to download videos to local storage. Incredibly useful feature as sometimes internet connection isn't feasible. This ability seems to have become broken. Files will not download, just an endless empty bar being shown as a progress bar. Otherwise, enjoy the app and the ability to save videos on local storage is great!

Review title of MarkStill no closed caption support

Seems a lot better than the previous WIndows store version but is missing closed captions. This is pretty much a legal requirement for schools under the disability act so we are stuck with the 'Old' client on Windows 8.1 for now.

Review title of ChrisPretty good effort

I'm not sure if the APP has been updated since the other reviews, but all the 'issues' mentioned by others seem to be addressed. The APP behaved well, has all the features found in the old APP and more. Works well onsite and remotely, on connections of various speeds. I like it. Oh and automatic login works if you save your credentials in the settings section.

I've seen better, I would prefer YouTube or anything else, I would recommend this for school maybe, but please don't use this for personal use or else you will commit not-alive and that would suck.
