When Nicky Ferelli (Pauly Shore), the son of New Jersey’s most powerful crime boss is framed for a murder he didn’t commit, he escapes to a small Tennessee town where he is treated to some southern hospitality. At first Nicky sticks out like a sore thumb, but he soon befriends a cast of characters, including country cougar Trina (Tanya Tucker) and develops a knack for bootlegging a new and unusual variety of moonshine. Bonding with the locals over a love of cocktails they join forces to take down Gilly (John Schneider), the town’s corrupt sheriff. Nicky discovers that a country way of life could in fact be the best thing that ever happened to him.
