It's a decent open world game but doesn't succeed

Mafia 3 is an open world sandbox story driven game akin to that of the GTA series. However Mafia 3 does struggle here and there providing an upscaled 720p/30fps experience which shouldn't be the case in 2016 even on a PC console. The game suffers horrible pop in for cars, trees, buildings, ect which sometimes results in crashing when in a high speed chase. Another issue is that only two weapons can be carried at once when there is such a wide varity of weapons to pick from. My biggest gripe however is the repetitive mission structure which goes as follows, talk to the guy, wipe away his cash, kill the big guy, repeat 20 more times which is boring considering how well done Mafia 2 was. However, Mafia 3's story is incredible with high quality voice work from the whole cast, mainly Rick Pasqualones Vito Scaletta who was Mafia 2's protagonist. Final Verdict is wait for a sale but do keep an eye on it! ------- Youtube.com/xTGE - Walkthroughs, Guides, Reviews & More.

Disappointing.

Awesome driving (in simulation mode), great gunplay and decent story thrown into a beautiful but lifeless open word filled with extremely repetitive gameplay. This one even almost completely loses customization also. Not worthy of the Mafia name and more of a step backwards for the franchise instead of improving the things that fell short in the previous game. Heartbroken. Please don't support this..

Surprisingly Awesome!

I have never thought anything of the mafia franchise but this game blew me away! Sharp graphics, better driving than GTA and an awesome story! Apart from all that the shooting and violence in this game is outstanding. Just a good game all round!

Very disappointed

shoddy lighting puts you off. The ai drivers are even worse than gta ones, cops are dumb to. i do donuts around them and drive on the wrong side of the road crashing everywhere and yet they still do nothing about it . not bad though its lacking in features, could do with some polishing and ive already found more bugs than i can count on two hands. I would wait until after the next update or 10, nothing compared to mafia2

half decent

Well where do i start, i think the only reason i am still playing this game is because of the story everthing else just falls apart, lighting, object models and AI are just aweful not to mention the draw distance is so bad the game feels like it was made in 2004. i recommend waiting till either the game goes on sale or a patch is released.

I am enjoying mafia 3 such a great and in depth story but having big issues with it not saving and just randomly crashing and i have the latest update. (also i want to change cloths and buy beer like in mafia 2)

Think saints row.

Lost the realistic fun of old Mafia games. Cops shoot on sight. Cars drive bad. Shooting is horrible. Good story though
