Introducing Copilot Mode

Copilot Mode enables advanced AI capabilities and transforms Edge for Business into a proactive, agentic partner. Copilot Mode meets you where you are, with a simple toggle in the Edge management service to activate advanced AI browsing.

Agent Mode offers several additional layers of protection

IT sets the rules

IT is in control of when to enable Agent Mode and which sites it works on. And when it’s running, users will see visual cues and are able to stop it at any time.

Honours your policies

Existing data protection policies, such as DLP and usage rights restrictions, are respected. When Agent Mode encounters a page with existing data protections, the user is informed that it cannot be accessed.

Sensitive data stays private

Agent Mode won’t access passwords, payment methods, or other sensitive info stored in Edge. If that data’s needed, Agent Mode will pause and ask the user to intervene.

Permission required

Agent Mode won’t proceed with sensitive actions without explicit user permission.
