• Can I save PDFs with my highlights and markings?

  Yes! You can save a copy of the PDF with your highlights and markings from the PDF toolbar.

• How can I fill in blank areas with text after I open a PDF?

  From the PDF toolbar, select “Add text”. Select a location where you want to add the text and start typing. By selecting the text box, you’ll be able to move it or change the font.

• Can I easily skip around a longer, multi-page PDF?

  You can navigate PDFs in a few ways. You can search the PDF by selecting the magnifying glass in the PDF toolbar. You can also open a table of contents for the PDF by selecting the table of contents icon on the far left of the PDF toolbar.

• How do I translate text within a PDF?

  There are two ways to find the translation option when looking at a PDF in Edge. First select the text you want to translate. Then on the PDF toolbar located at the top of the PDF, select the translate icon. Alternatively, once the text is highlighted, simply right-click the highlighted text and select translate selection.  

• How many languages can I choose from for translation?

  You’re able to choose from over 70 languages for translation. 

• Can I make edits to a translation?

  If you notice your translation needs an adjustment, you can select the small pencil icon located underneath the translation to submit edits. Your submission will be used by Microsoft translator to improve translation quality.
