    Tacoma Public Schools

    Situation: A 2007 national study labelled the 30,000-student Tacoma Public School district’s five secondary schools “drop-out factories,” where many students entering Post-16 Education left before gaining any qualifications.

    Solution: Using cloud analytics, the school began predicting student drop-out risks. Rates of completion with a qualification jumped from 55 to 82.6% by 2016 & today the district is recognised nationally for its educational achievements.
