While the look and feel are top notch, it seems Microsoft skipped on the internal elements. My type cover lasted all of 16 months with minimal use before it gave up and died on me. Save yourself the money and buy a slick bluetooth keyboard.

Review title of AdrianExcellent product
Vast improvement over the old Pro 3 keyboard. My old pro 3 keyboard lasted three years in a school environment. Only reason for replacement was a broken Q key (Which had to glued on) and the material coming apart on one side. Hope this one is as good. Prefer the layout with a proper print screen key and adequate spacing between keys which also feel far more solid when pressed. Track pad has been improved and is larger too.
Mines the "black" colour which is actually more of a dark grey.

Review title of Davidvery poor build quality
I'm needing to replace mine after 2 years as it's completely disintegrated. First the backlighting failed, then the silky coating rubbed off around the touch pad, then one of the keys broke in two. Looked nice initially and I like the feel of it, but very poor quality given the extremely high price
