Review title of JackThe other person commenting is an idiot
I felt the need to give this product a proper review after seeing the short-sighted review below. This person clearly does not understand that this device is a portable solution to a laptop. Microsoft have the surface laptop range if your looking for a laptop... I am a travelling business man and a tech lover. The surface pro 6 was the best device I ever owned. I can easily pull this device out of my bag and jump back into work, not to mention it takes up no space and weighs next to nothing. I loved it so much I had to upgrade to the surface pro 6 on the first day of release with the highest spec. The surface pro 6 at a much lower spec could run advanced photo and video editing software very quickly so I can't wait to see what this can do. I'm 'extremely disappointed' to see someone leave such a terrible review who has clearer not even looked into this product or considered what people want from a product like this for.
Review title of MacSuper impressive 2 in 1 Computer
Like the review below perfectly described (Jack), this is a device for someone who understands the forms and functions. I run a business and am always away from a desk. I needed something light, with good battery life, LTE connection, access to Excel & full windows to run particular software I use day to day to fully be a mobile office. The Surface Pro X definitely fits my requirements. I have been waiting for something like this for some time and have found similar tablets fall short for example iPad Pros. I have only used the Surface Pro X for a short period but I was up and running within an hour after installing all the applications I needed and I have no complaints nor did I need to resort to using my PC. A recent YouTube (Sean Sheffer) video directed me to download Edge Chromium, all I can say is this YouTuber stopped me from cancelling my order and I do not regret my decision as this browser even as a beta is super fast in my opinion faster than Chrome. Best buy of 2019
Review title of PaulIgnore the fake reviews, it's perfect for 95% of people
Arrived two days ago, installed all my usual apps (32bit) inc. office home & business, chrome and have been using ever since. Much faster than my previous i7 dell laptop, things just on up instantly. Obviously other reviewers have never even used the device as the comments are stupid. Looking forward to more ARM64 apps being launched, but overall very impressed with device especially battery life. I get over 10 hrs in a typical day with 10% remaining. Chrome gives me 300+ mbps emulated on a 400 mbps connection over wifi upstairs, so very impressed with performance. Like all surface devices, they are not gaming machines, but if you buy one you won't regret it. In gore the fake reviews, it's an extreamly impressive but expensive device.
Review title of MartinBrilliant 2-1
Superb portable 2-1, in my mobile stable I have pixelbook, Pixelslate, Acer swift 7, I spend time traveling and I like to travel light but be able to be productive. My iPad Pro 12.9 even with IOS13 is no where near as productive as any of the fore mentioned. I have been delighted with the Pro X, tip, download the canary edge. My work is done within office365 apps. It’s fast, with a long battery life, charges fast by the supplied charger or slowly via one of the USB ports slowly, using my phone charger cable I can travel now with one charger and cable, plus a phone .This product is fabulous, don’t listen to the silly reviewers that went into this machine thinking it was going to be a surface laptop i7, it’s an IPad Pro on steroids, you may still want to keep your desktop or powerful laptop for home use, just like iPad Pro users have a MacBook or Laptop too. I chose the 8GB/128GB model and I can tell no different between this and an Intel i5/8GB U processor 2-1 running Windows home.
Review title of AlanToo many problems
I was very excited to recently get a Surface X as a present, but I have to say I am not overly impressed. The first 3 things I tried to do, did not work. Problem 1: As we know Microsoft Store has a poor selection of apps and the only way to download useful apps is through Bluestacks. Bluestacks download not working on the Surface X. Problem 2, Downloaded the Now TV app. The stream is stuttery and imposible to watch. Tried the same app on apple and laptop and both worked smoothly. Problem 3 - tried to download Express VPN app. Error message as well. You would think these would be simple features, however by the amount of troubleshooting conversations on the internet it seems this is going to be the norm for using a Surface :(
Review title of YYYPurchase and Honest Reviews
So this review is focussed on the purchase experience rather than the actual device yet. 1. Pre-Ordered and paid for it. MS then refunded the amount with NO further information. 2. Went to store, pre-ordered without payment (not by choice) and then got an email when it arrived. It didnt arrive. 3. Got another email later in the day, informing that it arrives the next day. 4. Gave up. This is why Apple fans love apple and are dubious around MS. The overall experience is lacking. I would like to try buying this again - now that it is arrived I imagine wont be a problem. And... I would like to see the review that the other reviews are commenting on! MS should NOT be deleting reviews. Just because it is negative should not be deleted. My experience of x2 Surface Gos is that they were basically unusable for even the most basic productivity work or even browsing beyond a couple of tabs. We, consumers, must see reviews - good or bad.
