From the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, the Tick Bite Test & Report lab has tested over 30,000 ticks nation-wide and tracks state and zip code location data of the percentage of tested pathogen infected ticks in a given area. If you are bitten by a tick, insert the zip code location where the tick bite occurred and find out how many other infected ticks have been tested positive for disease pathogens. Instructions for send tick specimens for lab testing are enclosed.
