Such a useful accessory

This keyboard is totally portable and works well with various devices. It is super simple to connect via Bluetooth, and while I agree it takes a little bit of getting used to with the gap between the two halves, its portability and long battery life more than makes up for it. It is quite rugged too.

The best keyboard

This is the best keyboard I have ever had. I am so happy with it, it is very easy to use, you can bring it everywhere, it is small, foldable and you can change between two devices. I am from Slovakia and the delivery time was only two days, what is great for that distance. I really recommend it.

Nice to use once you're used to the central split

I've used this successfully with my HP Stream 7 and 8 tablets also with my Microsoft Lumia 950 phone - all Windows devices although it has the ability to be set for Android or iOS devices as well. It has nice short travel keys and feels solid in the hand when folded with a nice external coating. It does require a solid table or desk of some sort to be used because attempts at typing on your lap will result in the keyboard flexing along the hinge point - in short, making it very difficult to use in such circumstances. Make sure to run the firmware update that's available from Microsoft's website for this keyboard. I was getting some problems with the Caps Lock function working in reverse with my Lumia 950 (but not my Tablets) - it would type small letters when the Caps Lock light was on and Capitals when the light was off but this problem seems to have sorted itself out (perhaps due to the firmware update). It is very flat with no inbuilt propping up feet or wedge design like some full sized keyboards - again, something to get used to. Fits compactly in my bag with my tablet and external battery pack - everything I need for work on the go such as during train commutes.

Absolutely fantastic!

I have tried many different portal keyboards and this one knocks all of them out. Well done Microsoft!

game changer

I use this with my Lumia and it's changing the way I work in two ways: 1. I can draft and edit documents directly in Word on the Lumia (via OneDrive) very quickly and 2. I can answer e-mails or even just compose texts quite quickly--I love it. I'm going to try it with a Bluetooth mouse on Windows 10 preview on the Lumia tomorrow!

Impressive

Often, mobile keyboards fail to live up to expectations. This keyboard does take some getting used if you spend most of your time using a full size keyboard. Nevertheless I urge you to persist especially if you do need to work when mobile. Once you've developed your mobile keyboard skills you will use this keyboard.
