awesome product much smaller than gen 1 xbox one console controller is much better to hold with a nice feel console arrived very quickly overall a very happy customer just a quick note item doesn't come with a stand which is a shame but I knew this before purchase

Quite how they fitted everything into this is a credit to Microsoft, sleek, cool design, takes pride and place at the side of TV. No external power pack to hide and keeps cool, really cool, left on full power for 7 days while I re-downloaded all my games, no heat or noise, amazing! Recognised my 4K TV without prompting this is what it was made for, perfect!

Great machine, sleek design. Looks amazing and improves games to 4k via upscaling. You will need a compatible 4k TV though to make the most of it. HDR is impressive too. Especially with forza 3. Also if upgrading from xbox one you will have to order a free kinect adaptor to use the kinect on this.

Love the design. Sleek and smaller than the xbox one. Slicker too. 4 k hdr is good. Games and content all upscale to 4k. Make sure you have a decent 4k hdr tv though. Recommend Samsung 6000 series. Excellent and not overly expensive for the size.

I love my new Xbox One S

I'm new to this gen of console gaming (I'm a PC gamer primarily), but given I recently acquired a 4K TV I decided to take the plunge. I have been a PS gamer since 1995 and have never played with an XBOX, so consider me a novice here. After a couple of weeks I am very happy with my purchase. The console (Deep Blue) is gorgeous. It is very slick, has a lovely colour and even my SO likes it. I can't believe the power the machine has given its small form factor. It is incredibly quiet, even with a disc in it, and consumes very little power. The controller is highly ergonomic and incredibly comfortable to hold - I don't get hand cramps like I used to with my PS3 controller. A shame that it takes AA batteries, but the Microsoft 'Charge and Play' pack solved that problem. The console looks great and is happy handling 4K UHD Blu Rays (which no other console is!) I've also found myself really enjoying catching up on a couple of years of console games. While XBOX has few exclusives (they are all available on Windows), being able to play sat at the settee on a large TV makes a big difference and is very enjoyable. The XBOX browser is easy to navigate (if a little tricky to fully personalise - and there are too many adverts!) and I've really enjoyed watching the NBA in High Def with very little effort. It isn't all perfect, though. I think Microsoft need to do more to advertise the fact that some 4K TVs won't be able to take advantage of all of the console's features. For instance, my TV won't project HDR images as it doesn't have a 10-bit display. Secondly, I found the Microsoft Store confusing - I pre-ordered the console and it didn't make it clear enough that it would be dispatched on release date (I expected, as with every other pre-order I've ever made) that I'd receive the item on release date. I was also surprised to discover that the rumble feature on the controller is very noisy - it makes a strange beeping sound. I can't tell if this is deliberate or a fault, but either way it is noisy. On the whole, however, I'm very pleased with my purchase and while technically the console is eclipsed by the PS Pro for raw gaming power, for anyone who wants a home entertainment centre that also plays games, this is quite literally the best option out there.

Pre-ordered the storm gray for release on the 21st of October did not receive till 24th , so I guess I will not pre-order anything from Microsoft and they link your bankcard with your xbox . as for the xbox one s its fine only two things I do not like is 1. power lead is for to short compared to how long the old one was , 2nd. you can hear the fan more than the older xbox one.
