Why the hate? GREAT GAME 🔥

The last time I was this immersed into a game was in the original Bioshock. A lengthy, non-repetitive campaign which makes you actually think about your next move! Hours of fun, highly recommended ❤🎮🔥💪♻

Prey is an absolute masterpiece

Prey has shown itself to be the best game of 2017 throughout the story, gameplay and atmosphere. Through my 28 hour run I encountered characters who could trigger different emotions in me love, anger, betrayal and more. The setting was awesome and thrilling the entirety of the Talos 1 station could be searched from top to bottom. Finding secrets, subplots and easter eggs was enjoyable. The depth of the power system and consequences of delving deeper was a great idea. The ending of the game I had experienced made me question the game, blew me away and set up an amazing sequal all at once. I leave a 4/5 because it is not a perfect game nothing can be there were bugs, glitches and crashes but none of the ruined the experience. The next game can take what Prey has done and improve on it immensely if enough time, effort and care is put into which is exactly what Arkane is going to do as they care about this game and it shows. Amazing job you guys at Arkane love what you're doing.

Mindblowing fun with a great psychological story

Very satisfying story for psych-thriller and sci-fi fans. There isn't an aspect I would complain about. Very few games amaze me lately and Arkane have with PREY. Beautiful visuals, intuitive controls and great level design. The confusion and deception bleeds through and connects the player to Morgan excellently. The Typhon are nightmarishly intriguing and unforgivingly vicious (even on standard difficulty). Whilst some complain it's frustrating, I would argue that it simply a challenge, something rarely seen in FPS titles today. Highly recommended to fans of Bioshock and Systemshock. 👍🎮

Prey is truly a great game!

Prey is a game with a lot to live up to considering the first Prey from Human Head did great portal gameplay before Portal, and it's sequel Prey 2 was cancelled very late in development due to Bethesda not thinking it was up to their standards. Thankfully Arkane has not disappointed with Prey, which has taken inspiration from games like System Shock and BioShock, but with elements familiar to Alien Isolation and films such as Total Recall. Prey is a game that allows you to play it the way you want, whether that means being stealthy and unseen, going in guns blazing or being very tactical and calculated. With lots of twists and surprises Prey will leave you feeling like Alice going through the looking glass.

good, I'm surprised.

Good so far... movement is fluid enough, you can climb things too. The environments feel authentic enough. I haven't died yet on normal. I have unlocked a slow motion ability that helps when attacking, setting a trap or running away. I like it, watch some real gameplay reviews before you buy if you aren't sure if it's borrowing too many ideas from games like half-life and bioshock for your taste.

Great game! from start to finish.

I loved the plot from start to finish. It was rich with content, functions and features and despite it being a bit difficult to complete on the hardest difficulty at certain times, I would still say I overall enjoyed it. I would definitely consider this a good purchase and I highly recommend any gamers out there who dont mind a bit of horror to consider picking this game up at some point. I look forward to any possible future content for the game aswell as its possible sequels. 👍

Surprise slide show at the worst possible moment

First off gameplay wise its awesome and the atmosphere is spot on, BUT (theres always a but)... the further i got the more the frame rate tanked. 5-10 fps at best, mid way through a main story mission in the reactor section which has rendered it pretty much unplayable. First person jumping puzzles @10fps isn't enjoyable. It's a shame as upto this point i didn't really have any complaints.
