Description

AdBlock. The #1 ad blocker with over 200 million downloads. Blocks YouTube, Facebook and ads everywhere else on the web. The original AdBlock works automatically. Choose to continue seeing unobtrusive ads, white-list your favorite sites, or block all ads by default. Just install, then visit your favorite website and see the ads disappear! NOTE: * Unobtrusive ads aren't being blocked in order to support websites. * The notice you see about having access to your history and website data is automatically generated because AdBlock runs on every tab. But it does not actually monitor your browsing history or require your personal information to work properly. After installing AdBlock, if it doesn’t work, please restart MS Edge. If the extension still isn’t working, please provide feedback through the Feedback Hub

Still doing what it says on the tin!

Started using this on Chrome and now using it on Edge. Never had any problems with it-NEVER paid a penny towards it. Not going to bother with AdBlock Plus (Beta) until they've ironed out a few kinks. Keep up the good work AdBlock :-)

Could be better

It doesn't block ads on a number of news sites and adult sites and settings don't save after closing the browser. Needs an option to block anything from external sites like IE11 had. Oddly enough, using EasyList blocks more on IE11 than this adblocker. This is a fresh install of windows, less than 2 weeks old, its not malware and I have the acceptable ads disabled. Every time I close the browser and re-open i have to change the settings because they don't save. Thanks for getting back, I appreciated it.

If you're still seeing ads with Acceptable Ads list disabled, please use our "Report an ad on this page" feature to help us troubleshoot. Thanks! Also, if your AdBlock settings aren't being saved, are you using Ccleaner or a similar app? If so, make sure it's not removing cookies in Edge. - Rhana, AdBlock Community Manager

Used to work... Then stopped... Now works again!

Worked until a recent Windows update. However, for a few months - like all Microsoft Edge extensions - this thing was useless. However, after latest OS update, this very useful extension has started working again! Very pleased to have hung on in there, since I really appreciate the clean reading experience created by the culling of all those unnecessary adverts! Well done!

Doesn't work anymore

Used to work, now it doesn't. Stopped blocking ads on Reddit and despite being activated in the extension options, the AdBlock menu is empty besides the "You like AdBlock? Donate" message.

strange

on my pc works great but on surface3 not so good. When I click options on pc I get 5 options to tick, on the surface it's blank except for the AdBlock logo also the little hand in the top right corner on my pc tells me how many Adds have been blocked but not on my surface 3. left click the hand on pc it gives you options to pause, block, don't run but not on my surface 3,it will block adds on pc but not on the same sites on my surface. (Update) works ok now after a windows update, uninstalled AdBlock then reinstalled all good now

Was ok, updated and not working. FIX below

It was working ok, but since the update today 29 sept 16, it doesn't block ads. Not able to roll back either due to auto updates. I LOOKED INTO EXTENSIONS AND FOUND IT HAD BEEN TURNED OFF. THIS MUST OF HAPPENED AS A RESULT OF THE UPDATE. GO TO EXTENSIONS AND TURN ON AND ITS OK. UPPED STARS!

Doesn't block the most annoying of all ads.. YouTube!

Very disappointing. You can't manually block either because it disables the whole video.
