Firewatch is a single-player first-person mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness. The year is 1989. You are a man named Henry who has retreated from your messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. Perched high atop a mountain, it’s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe. An especially hot, dry summer has everyone on edge. Your supervisor, a woman named Delilah, is available to you at all times over a small, handheld radio—your only contact with the world you've left behind. But when something strange draws you out of your lookout tower and into the world, you’ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have. A Note: Firewatch is a video game about adults having adult conversations about adult things. If you plan on playing with a younger gamer, that might be good to know going in. Includes A stunningly beautiful wilderness environment that expands as you explore. A tailor-made story: the choices you make shape the narrative and build relationships. An edge-of-your-seat mystery. Secrets and discoveries to be made over every hill. Featuring Living, breathing characters brought to life by Cissy Jones (The Walking Dead: Season 1) and Rich Sommer (Mad Men) A spectacular wilderness environment by Olly Moss (Illustrator) and Jane Ng (The Cave, Brutal Legend) A thrilling story and script by Sean Vanaman and Jake Rodkin (The Walking Dead: Season 1, Poker Night at the Inventory) A stirring original soundtrack by Chris Remo (Gone Home, Spacebase DF-9) Fluid first-person animation by James Benson (Ori & the Blind Forest) Gameplay scripting and design work by Patrick Ewing (Twitter) and Nels Anderson (Mark of the Ninja) Programming by Will Armstrong (Bioshock II) and Ben Burbank (Costume Quest 2, Spacebase DF-9)

It had potential

really liked the concept but far too simplistic...more of a telltale game than anything else. Overpriced given the game content and length (under 6 hours to complete). Enjoyed the story and conversational element but could've have had more interaction with objects and environment etc. A nice time killer if you have a spare afternoon and £15 to waste!!

Chilled Out Gaming

I really enjoyed this game. After a long day at work it was good to play something a bit laid back. The story is good, i found myself trying to guess right to the end what was going on. Walking around the forests is good, there a lots of paths to explore and a few secrets if you want to get all the achievements. OVERALL: Its not the longest game, 2 or 3 evenings should have it completed. If you want a nice relaxing game with a good story, you`ll enjoy this. Graphics are clean and crisp and the sound sets a good tone for the game. So sit down in your house and go for a walk in the forest today!

Short but outstanding work

Once in a while you find game which is not produced by a main stream company. You don't expect much of the game when you buy it. 3-4 hours later, your low/no expections of the game itself turns a emotional turmoil which hits right in the feel. I personally did not think I was going to enjoy this game as much as I did, and for that I'd like to thank the developpers and everybody who made this piece of art. Great story, fantastic chararters and beautiful environment! Looking forward to the next adventure :)!

A very enjoyable game which will leave you wondering from start to finish, with a superb soundtrack that pulls you into the landscape. Game length-wise it's on the shortside. I would have liked a handful more Days in between. Top-notch story with great dialogue!

play it for the great voice acting and good story

It's worth the money. not for kids. It can be a little hard to hike around the map, so you might feel lost a few times in the early game. It's not an open map, there are paths to follow so you can't "straight line" it to the next location. It covers some adult topics. It had me pondering who was for real and .... {(º×º)}

Adult themed video game, with extreme good taste in every aspect. Shame about some technical short comings. Still my goty. Thank you for bringing it to Xbox One.

Don't think the price is worth the 4-6 hours playtime but I loved it in it's entirety!
