This game is a work in progress. It may or may not change over time or release as a final product. Purchase only if you are comfortable with the current state of the unfinished game. Ghost of a Tale is an action-RPG adventure, set in a medieval world populated only by animals. You play as Tilo, a courageous minstrel mouse on a perilous quest to escape the jails of Dwindling Heights Keep and discover the fate of his true love Merra. Armed with a mouse’s talent for stealth, agility and disguise - and a love of music - you'll explore the towers and dungeons of the keep, navigating its dangers and discovering its secrets. Dwindling Heights is a dangerous place for a little mouse, and Tilo's not much of a fighter. When confronted with enemies twice your size, nimbleness and guile are your allies. Talk to the characters you meet - make enemies and allies - and leave no stone unturned in your quest to find Merra. Please note that the preview version of Ghost of a Tale is presented in English only. The final release will support English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and more. About the team: Ghost of a Tale is developed by a very small team. Lionel "Seith" Gallat creates 90% of the art, design and coding. Paul Gardner is the game's writer and an experienced game designer. Cyrille Paulhiac does coding and develops tools. Jeremiah Pena is the game's composer, while Nicolas Titeux is responsible for sound design. Tilo - new Favourite Character

Tilo the mouse is adorable. The game preview is essentially the first level I still had an immensely fun 6ish hours searching every nook and cranny. I think there was around 25ish quests to do just within this level and a lot to find and do. The world so far looks and plays great (a prison, sewers and courtyard in the preview). I love the world design, reminds me of Dark souls 1 in which the world can is layered above and below itself and unlocking sneaky shortcuts and secret passages really lend a great structure to the locations design and gameplay. I absolutely cannot wait for more content

charming and clever

Wonderfully charming game steeped in lore like the dishonoured games (theres even foot notes during speech) but with the stealth mechanics of the likes of the tenchu games minus the murder, he is only a tiny mouse after all. some bugs as expected, seems to crash at the start sometimes and guards can get stuck but for such a small team this game is incredibly polished.

Of Mice and Rats.

Beautiful, atmospheric, funny, spellbinding. In an arena of overblown nonsense, it's so refreshing to experience a game like this. Looking forward to the final product.

I love the graphics, the controls are easy to use. I hove this game is successful and more content is added. If you've played Little Nightmare the you'll most likely love this.

Mrs Frisby and the rats of NIMH.

This is exactly how i imagined it when i read the book as a child. I'm not saying this is an adaptation of the book but the similarities are obvious.

Great potential

Beautiful game and wonderful characters. In its current state (in game preview) there's not enough content for me to make a decision to buy but will be following it closely.

Oh rats!

Crashed, straight after reading the first diary entry, less than a minute into game. Span the camera round to get a closer look at the cute protagonist, and then...Freeze. Screenshots look beautiful, and I'm sure the game is going to be fun, though the writing seemed a bit poor. Love rats, and everything Medieval, so looking forward to playing it...Here's hoping it doesn't keep crashing.
