Who said rocket science wasn’t FOR EVERYBODY! Kerbal Space Program puts you in charge of the recently launched space program for a fun & clever alien race – the Kerbals. These little guys are counting on you to build spaceships, rockets & vehicles that can take off & hold on during COOL space travel missions, without hurting them in the process… EXPLORE SPACE, DISCOVER NEW PLANETS AND CONQUER THE UNIVERSE You’ll have a collection of parts & tools to accomplish this, each one with unique functionalities that will affect your ship & it’s chances of taking off (or crashing). THIS ALL HAPPENS IN A Realistic, physics-based space flight simulator that ensures everything will fly (or crash) as it should in real life. The game offers three gameplay modes: Sandbox, where you’re free to build anything your imagination can come up with; Science Mode lets you perform scientific experiments & advance the knowledge of Kerbals to unlock new technologies; and Career Mode, where you control every aspect of the space program, including crew management, reputation building, as well as embarking on side missions called “contracts” to earn funds & upgrade your space center facilities (or repair them). Moving on to deep space, KSP lets you capture asteroids (in game levels designed in collaboration with NASA), launch mining programs to find resources across the furthest reaches of the galaxy & build space stations in all the planets you discover. It all adds up to this award-winning game that has taken the space sim genre by storm. Fun facts • The vehicle assembly buildings & space plane hangars allow players to build spaceships, rockets & vehicles using any imaginable combination of parts. • Realistic, physics-based space flight simulation ensures everything will fly (or crash) as it should in real life. • You’re free to take your Kerbal crew out of ships for “extra-vehicular” activities. • Discover new moons & planets. • KSP delivers detailed terrain at a vast scale. The Kerbal planet alone is 600km in radius! • Keep an eye out for engine temperatures and fuel levels or your ship will explode… not that it isn’t fun! • Full control over the ship’s setup allows for complex flight maneuvers & advanced functionality. • Dock your spacecrafts together to build space stations, massive starships or surface bases on new planets. • Manage your crewmembers, from hiring & training to sending them onto space to become heroes. • Research & develop new technologies to advance the Kerbal's space program. • Extract valuable resources from all over the galaxy • And a whole lot more!

WAY overpriced console port, does less than half of what the PC version does And to top it all off, ZERO mod support, with no announced future plans from the devs, or even implementing basic mods in future updates or DLC. That's why the console port is so expensive, Devs are just making the maximum amount of money they can, and running off into the sunset No future updates or mod support in any capacity is planned, the console edition has been discontinued. If you want to get the real edition, get it on PC for less than half the price, more features and mods.

Exponential fun!

Large learning curve but tutorials are useful and the game is amazing and great fun even if you play totally casually.

Not for consoles

The controls for this game with a pad are absolutely unplayable. 1 launch in with my kerbal finally performing an eva and the command to enter the capule (long tap B) does nothing at all. Camera control and zoom is just terrible. I waited so long for this game to reach a 1.0 release and am just disappointed beyond belief. a waste of money on a console platform. I suspect this works much better on a pc but now am not willing to potentially waste any more money.

A wonderful game that doesn't work

KSP was a mind bending pc that has been ported in a very poor way. but that happens. What makes this game currently unplayable is th inability to save, because if you do KSP reverts to an old save deleting your progress. That is if you evev get to save at all and it doesn't crash which is so common this game is effectivly broken. Such a shame considering how fun it was on pc. So until it works this game is a total waste of money and time.

great game but with game breaking bugs. no saving, crashes regularlly & at times parts/controls/manuver nodes dont react as they should in flight. there has been no support for these issues so far. very disapointing to play on console & I dont think it was ready for release. none of this is covered in gaming media reviews which is infuriating & only exacerbates the problem as customers that buy now may be put off entirely from what should be one of the best games of the decade. my low rating represents the quality of the product on xbox at this time, £31.99 for what is essentially a demo is not cool Squad,Flying Tiger & Xbox. dont be no mans guy, get a date & fix this amazing game. thanks

good product, Rough edges (READ BEFORE BUY)

As the update has pretty much done nothing i shall list the bugs im aware of which still need to be fixed, then you can decide wether its worth it (in no particular order) 1. game crashes frequently 2. planets sometimes glitch and disappear 3. wheels on aircraft glitch into ground on runway 4. the entire ground has an icey feel to it (wheels slide around as if on ice) 5. wheels usually overstress on takeoff ( and when your driving in a straight line) 6. cant switch vessel without leaving to menu screen. (all these i have personally experienced there will be many more bugs and glitches i havent come across just yet, i will update when the next update arrives and there is an "Improvment")

Great fun, theres no easy way to describe this game its very easy to pick up controls are fantastic and trying to build the crazyest rocket that works can be both frustrating and very rewarding at the same time.

great game but.....

really good game, find myself lost for hours in it but the save feature really needs fixing badly as i can save multiple times and come back and nothin has saved at all!!! also every time the game crashs (just as bad as a bethesda game) even though you have saved like 20 times prior, all your data will be gone and trust me after spend several hours building a moon base and getting each bit too the moon and putting it altogether and then finding out that the game hasnt saved after it crashed really and i mean REALLY P#SS' ME OFF even more so when its the second time youve had to do it because the previous save didnt SAVE!!! anyway rant over, hope this helped and SQUAD fix youre game!!!

An amazing gaming experience and great teaching tool.

Every now and then a game will come along that you will fall in love with. Kerbal Space Program has captured my heart like no other game. First off, it has been lovingly crafted by the development team who have consistently engaged and embraced its community. Being a part of the community leaves you feeling like a part of the development team. Mods are created by many community members and some have even been incorporated into the main game (PC) by the developers. More importantly, feedback is welcomed and listened to. So, what will console owners be doing in Kerbal Space Program? Well there are moons, planets and a deadly Star to visit, all of which go dancing through their orbits waiting to be discovered. Watching your craft and/or satellites glide through space is extremely satisfying and touching down on an alien moon or world is a truly magical gaming moment. There are some breathtaking and beautiful moments waiting f
