Friar The Tuk

PES is back to it's best. Thee best football game in years, the closest we've got to the real thing. Look past the lack of licenses, the depth is on the pitch where should be. I love it

Utter waste of money

Been away from PES for a while, but after reading positive reviews decided to give it a go. What a mistake! The menu system is still as poor and clunky as it was last time I played, and highly irritatingly there is no way to import an option file to have realistic kits, names and badges for the unlicensed teams (of which there are still many), even though PC and PS4 gamers CAN do this! Game play of course has always been PES' strongest element, and this is where the biggest disappointment is found. Whilst quite fun against a human opponent, against a COM team your players become ponderous, poor first touches abound, which would be fine if it also affected the computer, passes to feet are always underhit, through balls are almost always overshot and players cannot seem to hit the corners of the goal. The age old annoyance of players only missing the target by blazing just wide or miles over rather than scuffing or just missing is also there. Just don't bother with it.
