The Technomancer takes you to Mars, where you live as a mage-warrior. You’re capable of harnessing destructive electrical powers amplified by cybernetic implants. Feared and respected by all, you are on the verge of completing your initiation rite to become a fully-fledged Technomancer. This action-RPG offers four different combat skill trees focusing on three distinct fighting styles, as well as the potent electrical powers. Of course, brute strength is not suited to every situation. Dynamic conversations play a major part in questing, and your decisions will dramatically alter the story and world. You can also craft equipment, weapons and armor for yourself and any companions you recruit along the way. Undertake an adventure through forgotten paradises, lost cities under ice, and dystopian shanty towns that sprawl across Mars' dusty embrace. Will you survive long enough to uncover the truth behind The Technomancer?

Underrated Little Gem!

I've heard a lot of complaints about this game and some god awful reviews, yet, it was still a game I felt I should get my own opinion on and I'm very glad I did. It has it's downfalls, like every game of course it does and alot of people are quick to denounce it as a cheap, badly done Mass Effect, but underneath all this it is still a game that has very much to offer. Firstly, the scenery is gorgeously detailed, theres nothing better than freely exploring vast, open and unique cities, where every view is worth viewing! Also, the open menu will never take you out of the game, leveling up and viewing the map while you go. The characters are intriguing and interesting, with great loyalty systems and the story seems to get more & more interesting as you go on. By all means I'm not saying this game is perfect, but it's worth your own opinion on it at least, you might find yourself being plesantly surprised :)

A good atempt, but technically quite bad.

I wanted this game to be great. Pre ordered it as soon as it was available. Sadly, it doesn't quite hit the mark. Forgoing the dreadful character names, which is just my opinion, the combat is awful. Move too far from an enemies location, and they instantly de aggro and return to full health. The AI on the first boss is non exitant - I spent the entire fight side stepping and casting arc bolt whilst the boss raged at the empty air in front of him. There are numerous typos and nonsenses in the in game text. The cyberpunk setting and aesthetic are really good, but I found the problems broke the immersion too much for me to get into the game and really enjoy it. A rough diamond it isn't.

This game looked so good so awesome so unique but it flopped on launch with bad combat and bad characters here let me explain it combat a random gangster has more skill then you a specially trained technomancer since they dodge all your hits while you get ur *** kicked like aren't technomancer supposed to be like super soldiers? they feared in and out of the battlefield but I don't see that in zach the characters suck and the romance auughh it was shown in the tralier it was such a good but nope u just get one scene and you groping thier *** before you screw by the way being female not possible so a straight romance with lucky wont exist which sucks since lucky was one of the most best compaion in the entire game and ppl give this 5 out of 5
