Translator For Microsoft Edge

Tried it on French and German news websites, translating to English; translations were very good, despite differences in sentence structure etc. The text-highlight also seemed to work well. Very easy to use, with (what seem to be!) high-quality, readable translations. Great app.

great app, gave a new life to Edge. when i found this feature, I straightaway uninstalled Chrome.

Was working fine up until 10 days ago. Have tried reinstall a number of times without success. Have had to switch to Firefox with Google translator to complete my daily read of the Spanish Press.

Installs fine on my Acer laptop. I highlighted and right-moused the text of an email from a French friend and translate showed as an option. I clicked on that but nothing happened. I uninstalled the extension and reinstalled it and repeated the exercise. It does nothing. Not impressed.

As Microsoft Edge becomes more stable, this extension becomes more and more useful. Very good work and highly appreciated.

Tried numerous times to install the app. And I keep getting the message as 'This app has encountered a problem. Try Reinstall it to repair'. Cant see a way forward to install successfully.

When installed the icons appear OK (on right click and on Edge top bar), but nothing happens when I click. Also from options, the "Translate pages to" shows no languages at all. I have French installed on the keyboard language set if that's supposed to make a difference. Very disappointing app.

In the Anniversary Update version of Windows 10, it installed automatically in Edge (had it pre-installed). I use it to translate Chinese, always a good test, and it performs fine - no better or worse than other free machine translators. Translations from European languages are really very good now. It is a very useful app and should help making Edge more appealing. The app still needs some more work. A pop-up or some other way to see the original alongside the translation would be very helpful. At present it is possible to go back to the untranslated original but there's no quick in-App way to see both versions side by side to check on the accuracy of the translation. The updated version can translate a selection. Fantastic!

Hard to understand why this is the case - neither of the methods for 'fixing' posted here work. Just keeps looping about hit a problem and needs to be reinstalled.

Had no troubles installing this or any other extension. Translation so far seems pretty good, not clunky or awkward to read. Very easy to use. Useful extension.
