Viva Learning brings content to users wherever they are—in Teams and across Microsoft 365. With traditional learning experience platforms and learning management systems, users must search for learning content on their own. By bringing it to them in the flow of their work, Viva Learning avoids disruptions to employee engagement and productivity that typically occur when switching between point-solution apps.
Teams-integrated features require a Teams license to enable but can be used without Teams via web or other in-app experiences.
-
Yes. While the central hub for Viva Learning is in Teams, Microsoft is also building learning experiences with Viva Learning into the rest of Microsoft 365. For example, you’ll be able to see Viva Learning recommendations in your daily briefing email from Cortana, and learning items will show up in Microsoft Search across SharePoint, Bing, and Microsoft365.com.
