Microsoft set up a surgical theatre for the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Sattenapalle in rural Andhra Pradesh. The surgical theatre was created to assist patients requiring eye treatment and surgery.
This rare park was created at LVPEI's Kode Venkatadri's Chowdary Campus to expose visually challenged children to non-visual sensory experiences, teach adults about visual impairment and sensitize the public about the needs of the visually impaired.
Microsoft initiated a water sanitation program to address the basic hygiene needs of young students in a village in Vishakhapatnam. All the money raised from this initiative was donated to the Bhagavathula Charitable Trust. For more information.
