To adopt this new back-end functionality offer, Tenant Admins will need to touch their SharePoint On-Prem configurations to allow the connection with the new back-end implementation from Microsoft. This configuration touch is provided as a PowerShell configuration script to apply all required configuration changes. The script is used to adjust an existing SharePoint Hybrid configuration to successfully work and authenticate using the new M365 Cloud Search engine.Supported Operating Systems
