The Sharding Catalog Setup Scripts contain scripts to setup the schema needed for the Sharding Catalog for the Database Sharding Destination. It also contains examples of how to use the stored procedures to develop a sharding catalog. This sharding catalog will contain the details on how to shard a destination data set, and can be used in conjunction with the Database Sharding Destination to create a dynamic sharded destination for SSIS packages which must send data to sharded ADO.NET destinations such as Windows Azure SQL Database, or Microsoft SQL Server.Supported Operating Systems

SQL Server 2012- The SSISDatabaseSharding64.MSI file installs four components onto a machine with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 with the SSIS components installed. • Database Sharding Destination • Database Sharding Destination Connection manager • Blob Storage Destination • Blob Storage Source Once installed, these components will appear in the list of available components in the SSIS Development Tools, and will be usable for design and execution in SSIS.
