Worked in a filing job at George Lucas' production company, Lucasfilm Ltd., when he was 15.
Began his career making music videos for such artists as Meat Loaf, Donny Osmond and Tina Turner.
By the age of 30, had won nearly every major commercial-directing prize for his work for Nike, Coca-Cola, the "Got Milk" campaign and other clients.
Made his feature directorial debut in 1995 with the action comedy Bad Boys.
