Yes. If you upgrade today, the remaining time of your existing subscription is added to your upgrade. For example, if you have two months left on your current subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal and you upgrade to Microsoft 365 Family for one year (12 months), your Family subscription will run for 14 months.
To manage your billing options, install or remove Microsoft 365 from additional PCs or Macs, and manage other Microsoft 365 benefits, sign in to your account.
If you purchased a recurring billing subscription, your subscription starts when you complete your purchase. Recurring billing subscriptions may be purchased from Microsoft365.com, MicrosoftStore.com, iTunes®, and some other retailers. If you purchased a pre-paid subscription, your subscription starts when you activate your subscription and land on your My Account page. Pre-paid subscriptions may be purchased from a retailer or reseller, or a Microsoft support agent.

Each household member can install Office on their PCs, Macs, iPads, Android tablets, Windows tablets, iPhones®, or Android phones. Each person gets access to their own 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage, to store and share files and photos.

With an Microsoft 365 Family subscription you can share all the benefits of Microsoft 365 with up to 5 additional household members. Each household member you share will can install Office on their PCs, Macs, iPads, Android tablets, Windows tablets, iPhones®, or Android phones. Additionally, each person gets access to their own 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage, to securely store and share files and photos.
