GM, Operations & Site Leader
Maureen leads the Business Programs Operations Center of Excellence that ensures successful, compliant transaction execution to support revenue and payments processing while reducing COGS & supporting Microsoft's growing business YoY. Maureen and the BPO team make it easy for customers to do business with Microsoft by driving simplification and automated process improvements. Her ability to foster strategic vendor partnerships and drive change management will continue to allow the BPO team to deliver high impact results for Microsoft.
Maureen is responsible for all BPO services across Microsoft Business Operations which includes delivering Transaction Management, eCommerce, Sales Support, Digital Delivery, Incentive Calculations and Partner Support. In addition, Maureen and team lead the Center of Excellence for insourced Secure Transcription services that supply quality, compliant, and multi-language translation for Microsoft AI engines. Prior to joining Microsoft, Maureen retired from Nike after 23-years. She was responsible for the Strategic Partner Management Office and oversite of ITO services. She has 30+ years of international IT marketplace experience, extensive knowledge of outsourcing practices and has management experience throughout North America, Asia and Europe. She is a frequent keynote speaker at industry forums and is known to challenge the status quo, drive hard for meaningful change and lead the way with dramatic vision.
Maureen lives in Reno, NV with her husband Dave and enjoys Scuba Diving, Porsche Rally’s and all out having fun.
General Manager, Americas Operations
Kristen leads America Operations, a 450+ person team in Reno and around the globe enabling fulfillment and revenue processing for the company’s largest commercial, OEM, public sector, and advertising markets. Kristen and her teams work with Microsoft Sellers and Partners to manage the company’s revenue pipeline from opportunities to invoice and together, aspire to make it easy for customers to do business with Microsoft in excess of $80 billion. In addition to developing and nurturing customer and partner relationships and experience, Kristen’s team is responsible for building, launching, and maintaining operational programs and processes, ensuring Microsoft is ready to transact using the technology of tomorrow.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Kristen was with Hewlett Packard Enterprise where she was accountable for the Global Aruba H3C networking business. She also led the Americas GEO Sales engagement including Order Management and Care and she received HPE’s President Quality Award for process improvement. She also held international assignments leading China Joint Venture Business Operations, and Asia Pacific Operations for Enterprise Services. Kristen served as an executive lead for their Women Empowered in Global Operations team promoting opportunities for development and career growth in their vibrant community of women.
Outside of work, Kristen and her family are avid fans of the outdoors and can frequently be found hiking, biking and skiing in the surrounding mountains.
Senior Finance Director, Americas Operations Center
Mario currently leads Finance for Microsoft’s Americas Operations, which includes Statutory Accounting, Revenue Recognition for Microsoft’s Volume Licensing and OEM businesses, Advertising Operations (Bing and MSN), Partner Incentives and Licensing Compliance. His team operates out of several sites in the Unites States and Puerto Rico as well as Latin America, covering approximately $40b in annual revenues.
Director, Services Operations
Sara leads the Global Services Organization for the Americas which is accountable for compliant deal preparation, contract management, billing, revenue recognition, renewals and pipeline management for Premier Support and Microsoft Consulting Services. Sara and the GSO team aspire to make it easy for Services customers to do business with Microsoft through continuous improvement of process, technology, and engagement.
Prior to this role, Sara has experience leading global teams and managing multiple customer types (Direct Large Account, Distributors, Resellers and IoT) focused on their readiness to successfully deliver revenue. Other key experiences are in Global Program Management, Change Management, Vendor Management, Partner and Field Engagement, as well as SAP Sales and Delivery. Sara participates and supports many employee groups focused on empathy, leadership and development through diversity and inclusion.
Outside of work, Sara volunteers locally for organizations focused on STEM and grief education for children. Sara and her family enjoy the many activities Reno/Sparks has to offer, whether it is biking, hiking, skiing or a nice meal out.
