Throughout the launch and evolution of the <a href=\"https:\/\/partner.microsoft.com\/en-us\/campaigns\/partner-growth-initiative?wt.mc_id=OCPM_PGP_PD_BL_PGE_US_BAAPGI_USSocial_Blog\">Black Partner Growth Initiative<\/a> (BPGI), we\u2019ve kept a stringent focus on how programs enable partners toward growth and ensured that their voices \u2013 like those of Jasson Walker, President of cFocus Software \u2013 remained our key instrument to measure success.<\/p>\n<p>Through BPGI, we feel like we\u2019ve laid the groundwork for explosive growth with Microsoft,\u201d said Walker, an early BPGI participant. \u201cWe were introduced to one of the top 5 Microsoft Azure partners in the world and subsequently teamed with them on a $100M federal government contract opportunity to provide Azure services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Through key introductions, a guided onboarding experience, and ongoing support, Jasson has access to new, high-value opportunities that fuel growth.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the Black Partner Growth Initiative is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase representation of Black-owned partners expanding channel ecosystem diversity of thought innovation<\/li>\n<li>Accelerate capacity and rate of growth for Black-owned partner businesses<\/li>\n<li>Increase customer access through amplification of Black-owned partner services and solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Partners engaged in BPGI have access to a curated collection of programs including BPGI Accelerator, Hybrid Managed program, and access to the Partner Capital Fund. While our pipeline of new partners continues to be identified, <strong>o<\/strong><strong>ver<\/strong><strong> 650 new <\/strong><strong>partners were<\/strong><strong> onboarded<\/strong> to the Black Partner Growth Initiative in the first half of FY22.<\/p>\n<p>Most impressive is the surge of partners bringing their solutions to market. Through go-to-market resources made available through the program and support from dedicated partner development managers, nearly <strong>400 partners listing their solutions <\/strong>on the Microsoft commercial marketplace.<\/p>\n<h2>The path of progress for BPGI partners<\/h2>\n<p>Rapid progress is the result of partners\u2019 time and energy commitment. Through the last quarter, partners joined a <a href=\"https:\/\/msuspartners.eventbuilder.com\/BPGInitiativeQ2workshop\">series of workshops<\/a> intended to enable their success and dive deeper into topics that foster their knowledge. Insightful questions, active engagement with panelists, and follow-up connections made this series a success for partners and our team.<\/p>\n<p>More than 300 partners applied to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/us-partner-blog\/2021\/10\/22\/accelerator-program-launching-to-support-black-partners\/\">Accelerator Cohort<\/a> offered in partnership with AppMeetup. The first cohort of more than 50 partners launched this month, providing intensive coaching, 1:1 engagement, and comprehensive guidance. We will continue to track the progress of these trailblazing partners as they embark on their 3-month journey through the program and publish their solutions or services on the marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>Our partners have been the heartbeat and strongest advocates as we reach into the community. Partners from the <a href=\"https:\/\/bcpalliance.com\/\">Black Channel Partner Alliance<\/a> joined us and served as <a href=\"https:\/\/microsoft.sharepoint.com\/:v:\/t\/AABinitiative-FullTeam\/EcY-25AzA_lPuYbCGWLMSkcBKB_9w9niQDCuTdHrgz_M8Q?e=3JY7YT\">mainstage presenters<\/a> at Black Women Talk Tech\u2019s Roadmap to Billions conference last August.
