The commercial marketplace contains two storefronts: Microsoft AppSource, designed for software as a service (SaaS) business solutions, and Azure Marketplace, designed for solutions that are built on Azure.<\/p>\n<p>More than just a storefront, the commercial marketplace is your path to co-selling with Microsoft. And now we\u2019ve <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/blog\/drive-growth-with-the-most-partnerfocused-business-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reduced the marketplace transaction fee to 3 percent<\/a>, so you can keep more of your margin to reinvest in your business.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/marketplace\/create-account#use-an-existing-microsoft-partner-network-account\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enroll<\/a> in the commercial marketplace program in Partner Center.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-43578\" src=\"http:\/\/msftuspartnerblog.azurewebsites.net\/en-us\/us-partner-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2022\/02\/APBP-Image-2.png\" alt=\"Marketplace Overview\" width=\"1188\" height=\"669\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Extend your reach by connecting with Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More than just a storefront, publishing your solution in the commercial marketplace gives you access to Microsoft\u2019s network of over 90K Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners worldwide. By configuring your solution to sell through the CSP program, you can scale your reach and license your CSP partners to re-sell your solution.<\/p>\n<p>The new margin flexibility feature allows you to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/marketplace\/private-plans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">create private offers<\/a> and extend margin to CSP resellers, incentivizing them to sell your offer and, in turn, helping you drive revenue and scale. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/marketplace\/isv-csp-reseller\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Take these steps<\/a> to get started:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a new private offer in Partner Center.<\/li>\n<li>Enter private offer details, including CSP partners you\u2019d like to sell through and margin you\u2019ll pass to the CSP partner.<\/li>\n<li>Submit and save your private offer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019ll receive payment from Microsoft for sales of your offer through the CSP, less 3 percent agency fee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unlock the benefits of Marketplace Rewards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once your solution is available through the commercial marketplace, you can activate Marketplace Rewards. The Marketplace Rewards program is designed to help you find customers and scale your business through the marketplace. As your engagement grows, new benefits designed to help you convert customers and close deals will be unlocked.<\/p>\n<p>To maximize your benefit from the program, make sure to list your solution as a \u201cTransact\u201d offer. Transact offers reduce buyer friction and allow you to scale your solution to customers effectively. When you publish a \u201cTransact\u201d solution and activate Marketplace Rewards you\u2019ll be paired with an Engagement Manager that will help you realize the full potential of the program.
