In 2006, Erwin transitioned to Microsoft Corporate in Redmond from Microsoft BV in the Netherlands, where he led the Microsoft subsidiary marketing organization as a member of the Dutch leadership team. Erwin grew up in the ranks at Microsoft BV, after starting in a technical pre-sales role, through various Sales and Marketing positions. Erwin holds a master\u2019s in computer science and a bachelor\u2019s in mathematics from the University of Amsterdam. In addition to his career, Erwin is passionate about pushing his personal limits and exploring new experiences, countries and cultures. His hobbies include scuba-diving, mountain climbing, skiing, cycling and travel.
