We continue to test and learn new layouts on Bing search results to help users get to the answer they are looking for more quickly than before. In this new layout, Bing provides an AI-powered summary of the best answer in a simple and clear layout, followed by links that users are familiar with. Clearly labeled sources will enable users to validate the information or explore further.
The LLM understands the search query, reviews millions of sources of information, generatively matches content from the Bing search engine, and generates content in a new beautiful layout to help users get to their answer quickly.
When a user enters a search query, they may receive their answer in the new search results layout, followed by links they would usually expect to see. Currently, the new design is on a limited release for a focused set of query categories.
We are continuing to test and learn to ensure our users get their search answer quickly and will share more information soon.
