We’re thrilled to offer Microsoft Build attendees a unique opportunity to bring their family member (14-21 years old) to the conference for free! Your child will have access to all that Microsoft Build has to offer—keynotes and developer sessions, hands-on workshops, and more. Space is limited. Don’t miss out on this chance for you and your child to talk to Microsoft engineers, plug in to the junior development community, get hands-on with the latest developer tools and technologies, and explore how together we can change the world.

Your child must be a family member aged 14-21 years.

Your family member (14-21 years old) may attend the conference for free. Parents are responsible for their child’s hotel room (Microsoft Build hotels accommodate double occupancy), transportation, and any meals/activities outside of the Microsoft Build event.

During the registration process, select “Yes, I’m bringing my child(ren) with me to Microsoft Build.” Remember, space is limited, so register yourself and your child now.

We encourage you to email the Microsoft Build Team to cancel your child’s registration, so that other children have an opportunity to attend.

Yes! Your child will have access to the student lounge and to the hands-on labs for students.

No problem. When registering, you can list up to two family members (14-21 years old). If you want to bring more than two 14-21 year-old family members, please contact the Microsoft Build team for assistance. Be aware, however, that Microsoft Build hotels only accommodate double occupancy.

We are sorry but we can only accommodate children in this age range. Children older than 21 years may register themselves as adults and pay the Microsoft Build conference fee.

No, your child will need to stay with you in your double occupancy hotel room. Of course, you may choose to find your own hotel accommodations, at your own expense.

The hands-on labs will be comprised of several lab stations, staffed by experts, providing children with the opportunity to code games and devices.

The student lounge is a unique space catering to children age 14-21. It will host quick 10-15 minute learning sessions, guiding students on how intelligent technology can change lives and how they can use Microsoft products to learn and innovate.
