Key updates for SharePoint Server 2007 include:

This update applies to the following products:
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
• Microsoft Office Project Server 2007
• Microsoft Search Server 2008
• Microsoft Search Server 2008 Express

This update applies to 32-bit versions of the above products. If you are using the 64-bit version of a product, do not install this update. Instead, install:
• Infrastructure Update for Microsoft Office Servers (KB951297), 64-bit edition.


The update will install properly if either of the following are true:
• The 2007 Microsoft Office servers Service Pack 1 (SP1) is installed (Recommended).
• The 2007 Microsoft Office servers Service Pack 1 (SP1) is not installed.

Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 includes Windows Installer 3.1. Windows Installer 3.1 is also available as a separate download at the following location:
