The msxsl.exe command line utility enables you to perform command line Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) transformations using the Microsoft® XSL processor. Less than 30 kilobytes (KB) in size, the Msxsl.exe utility invokes the Microsoft XML Parser 4.0 (msxml4.dll) to perform the transformation.
Supported Operating System
Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP
-
- Because msxsl.exe is only a wrapper, Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) must be installed on the computer. You can download Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 4.0 from the Microsoft Download Center.
Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, Internet Explorer 5.5, and Microsoft Windows® 2000 released msxml.dll. This version of MSXML is not recent enough to be used with the msxsl.exe utility. You need MSXML 4.0 to run this utility.
