    The Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 SP1 Language Pack contains the text of the redist user interface elements, such as error messages, for languages other than English. If one or more end users have non-English settings for Windows, you can install the Report Viewer Redistributable language pack to show runtime messages in the same language as Windows.

  • Supported Operating Systems

    Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows XP

    • Required Software:
      • .NET Framework version 3.5 SP1 and the .NET Framework Language Pack SP1: You must install the Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 SP1 and the associated language pack before you install the Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 SP1 Language Pack.
      • Report Viewer Redistributable 2008 SP1: You must install the Report Viewer Redistributable before you install the language pack.

    1. Important: Make sure you have the latest service pack and critical updates for the version of Windows that you are running. To find recent security updates, visit Windows Update.
