    In conjunction with in-the-box Cloud Backup in SQL Server 2014, Microsoft SQL Server Backup to Microsoft Azure Tool enables a single cloud backup strategy across all versions of SQL Server. Reduce CAPEX and OPEX by shifting from on-premises storage to secure and cost-effective Azure Blob Storage Service, and protect your data and with the durability of the Microsoft Azure platform.

    For prior versions of SQL Server, the Tool provides:
    • Easy integration with Azure Blob Storage.
    • Off-site SQL Server backups, accessible from anywhere.
    • Encryption and compression for cloud and on-premises SQL Server backups.

    Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012 R2

    Internet Access

    1. Download the 32bit or 64bit version of the SQL Server Backup to Microsoft Azure Tool installer that matches your computer’s OS architecture.
    2. Click Open to start the installation immediately or click Save to save the installation .msi file to disk and install it later.
    3. Accept the license term of this tool.
    4. Click Next to complete the installation.
